Not really happy

Can definitely add more plant based items or at least ensure those mentioned do exist

Pros: Good ambience, Peaceful location near River, Waiters very friendly, tried to help veganise

Cons: Very few vegan options, walk ard stadium to reach, Some items mentioned on vegan menu not available , Fine dining experience, so, expensive

Awesome place with vege/vegan options!

This non-veg Indian cuisine restaurant, offer 2 pages of veg & vegan options. Do let the staff know your dietary preference (i.e. no dairy/no alliums) in advance for better recommendations! I am impressed that they use separate cooking equipment, oil and section of kitchen in preparing the veg foodie. #Awesome!

Amazing indian food. Great ambience

Newly opened in Nov with a delicated vegetarian and vegan menu as well as a regular menu with clearly indicated veg options! Love this new atas restaurant/pub with chic indoor & alfresco dining areas with river views. Yarana serves all diets, including vegetarian and vegan, with or without alliums. (Advance notice is required for allium-free options on some dishes)

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed this gastronomic experience. It is refreshing and unlike the usual stuff we have tasted. However I can't quite describe the flavours fully as I am not an expert in spices but Indian chefs certainly are. I trust them to do their magic with masala, fenugreek leaves, etc.

Featured here are:

✅CHAI & CHAAT
These interesting appetizers sure whipped up my appetite! In small lovely bites, I am impressed by the intriguing flavours that explode in my mouth.

✅PANEER TIKKA
This classic dish of Indian cottage cheese is nicely marinated and grilled in a tandoor (clay oven). I love the taste, texture and smoky fragrance.

✅MASALA CORN ON COB (Vegan)
These grilled corns impressed even my hubby who kind of hates corn. They are well grilled, flavoured and presented.

✅FIRE PIT ROASTED 'GONGURA' JACKET POTATOES
These potatoes come in a special and delicious stuffing.

✅NAAN BAR SET
Their naans can be made vegan! Comes in interesting and yummy flavours, such as olive methi and chilli cheese.

✅TOFU KADHAI MASALA (Vegan)
This dish impressed me. I thought this is a panner dish but it's vegan!! I love the sauce and seasoning for this tofu dish. It is nicely flavoured with a garlicky overtone.

✅MUSHROOM PEPPER FRY (Vegan)
Uses fresh mushrooms but what impresses is the pepper sauce that is flavourful but not overpowering.

✅GULAB JAMOON (with ice cream)
Lastly the dessert has a nice texture and a sweetness that is just right to satisfy a sweet tooth!
