One of the few restaurants with labels!

Came here around 6:45p on a Friday night to have dinner; there was only one other couple there so I don’t think you have to worry about it ever getting crowded. It was pretty chilly outside, which is where they have their seating, but they had put up a plastic cover to try to trap some heat.

I ordered the falafel bowl (falafel, couscous, salad veggies, and a tahini sauce) to split with my friend as a sort of “starter” and then I ordered their bunless veggie burger, which is their only vegan burger option. Be sure to specify that you want it as vegan—it can come vegetarian with cheese and an egg on it, and it seems like that’s the default option. The burger came with white sweet potato fries and a side salad, and the burger itself was a kind of funny presentation—it came over brown rice, lettuce, tomato, a giant slice of butternut squash, then the veggie patty, with smashed avocado on top. I ended up taking the tower of items a part and eating them separately. The veggie patty itself was really delicious! Even though the menu said it had black beans in it, I definitely don’t think it did, but whatever it was all made of it was tasty. Would not recommend the falafel though—it was pretty dry.

Overall, I left very full and satisfied. If you’re a vegan in the area, this can be a nice place to come either on your own or with mixed company since they serve nonvegan items as well.
