I went here for an Omni meal with some family. There’s not many places in Ipswich that satisfy vegans and omnis alike, but the reviews here were good and we were thrilled to hear they had Veef. We ordered the burgers, which we had to ask if they were vegan because we couldn’t work out the V/VG code on the menu - many items under both tag seemed to contain dairy. We were assured the burger was vegan so we ordered it. It was no veef. It was one of those potato and corn patties. If someone held me at gun point and I had to go back, I’d take a punt on the vegan tacos. Nice to see Omni restaurants with vegan items on the menu, but poorly executed here.

Great to see vegan food on the menu! - Edit

My husband got the veef burger and I got the mushroom risotto. The burger was good. I was quite impressed with the risotto, the taste was great and full of plenty of fresh veg. When in the area I would definitely go back 😊 Sorry, forgot to take photos!

Veef in Ipswich! - Edit

Good selection of vegan options. Modern and clean setting. Staff friendly and happy to help with ordering. Service was slow on the day I went. Partner was disappointed the craft beers are actually mainstream beers. The food was nice but portions are small for the price. Overall happy to have more vegan options in Ipswich especially veef.

Pros: Good vegan options and cocktail list , Modern setting , Friendly staff

Cons: Portions sizes rather small for price , Craft beers are main stream beer , Food service a bit slow
