Great coffee, eco-conscious - Edit
My coffee from Yallah was delicious, and their takeaway cup scheme is a great effort to reduce single-use plastics. It would be great if they offered a dairy milk alternative other than oat milk, though

A lovely lunch spot! - Edit
A lovely little cafe with really good quality options. I had a filter coffee (made from their own brand of coffee), a mushroom shakshuka and a pistachio and orange cake (perfectly moist!). Other options included a sandwich and butter beans on toast (also good). Basically all the mains can be veganised at the moment, except for the French toast. The cafe is small but has a lot of charm and if you can, definitely sit by the window for a great view of the beach. Would recommend for sure!

Delicious! - Edit
There were 3 or 4 vegan options, although talking with the staff it seems like many of the vegetarian options can be vagnan-ised. We had the Saucey Vegballs and Herby Green Beans. Both were fresh and delicious! Can't wait to go back and try some of the vegan cakes!

Update May 2023
Picture is currently menu, most options can be vagnised, eggs replaced with scrambled tofu and cheese with their homemade vegan mozzarella.

A hidden Gem - Edit
A little gem hidden above the shops easily missed. A lot of home made plant based options. We had the homemade ciabatta with cashew cheese and roasted vegetables. All home made! The coffee hit the spot as well, lovely helpful staff. St ives was massively busy and it offered a break from the madness even though it’s in the busy part by the sea front. The fact it’s up some small steps above the main shops might help as it’s easy to miss. Definitely worth a visit and not at all expensive. 👍

This was the most pleasant morning coffee experience of my life. The cakes and other food on offer all looked amazing, the staff were so kind, the view is gorgeous, and the coffee and bakewell cake I had were soooo good, 10/10 flavours

Best vegan eggy bread in the world 🤤 - Edit
Honestly dream of Yallah’s breakfast (vegan eggy bread) all year round. It’s the only place I’ll consider for breakfast in St Ives, because it frankly can’t be beaten! I’ve also tried some of their other dishes, which are also mind-blowingly good… but you’ll be missing out if you don’t try the vegan eggy bread. Try to get a seat with a good view out of the window for a truly serene brekkie spot. Coffee is on point too ☕️

What a lovely cafe! Simple loft style cafe with a great view of St Ives Harbour and Godrevy Lighthouse. The food was superb. Wish we had found this very vegan ( and dog) friendly cafe earlier in our stay! Highly recommend the vegan eggy bread & the cinnamon swirl! Thank you :)

A really lovely quirky coffee shop with plenty of vegan option s - Edit
Yallah was a hidden gem right on the front. Most stop l at the kiosk downstairs for a coffee but pop up the stairs and it’s very special. They have all milk alternatives, around 4 vegan cake options and 10 dishes which are all able to be made vegan. I was really pleased to find this place and happy to wait a short while for a fantastic view from the window over the seafront. The staff are fantastic and quick and I honestly couldn’t recommend enough. VISIT HERE !!!

Great place in St Ives - Edit
4 vegan options on the menu and an additional 3 that can be made vegan. delicious coffees, very reasonable prices, very friendly staff. jug of orange tap water to help yourself to which is always a nice touch. I had a very yummy toasted focaccia sandwich with aubergine and mushroom. they no longer do the salads I'd read about on here but the other options more than sufficed. Can sit upstairs or take away from the kiosk downstairs

Perfect find for a vegan in cornwall! - Edit
It was such a relief to find this gem in St Ives where finding a decent vegan or plant based option can be tricky. Loved everything we ate! The focaccia was delicious, lovely vibes and staff, well thought out menu. Would highly recommend and sad not to be able to try the rest of menu. Also the cookie was sooo good!! Made our morning eating delicious fresh plant based food from here rather than more chips and vegan pasties!

Great vegan options in St Ives harbour - Edit
Sought shelter here during a torrential downpour; a real sanctuary in the harbour area. An elegant, simply furnished upstairs cafe as well as a takeaway hatch at street level. Vegan sandwiched on sourdough bread, soup, cake and delicious vegan cheese toasties with pickles. Serves oat milk too!

Yallah Coffee St Ives - A Vegan/ Veggie Haven on the Harbour - Edit
Yallah coffee have provided a superb addition to the food and coffee scene in St Ives by opening an upstairs cafe on the Harbour side in addition to their street level kiosk. All the food and drinks are freshly made, sustainably sourced and where possible locally sourced. The cafe space has an amazing view and provides a relaxing and welcome haven from the busyness of the street below- particularly in high season . The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable and the menu is simple but provides great vegan and vegetarian options in a town strangely lacking in places which are purely meat and fish free. The cafe is dog and family friendly and is does not feel crowded despite being in a compact soace. A particular favourite is the Vegan cheese toasted sourdough with fresh chard, turmeric ginger and chill jam. They provide a range of fresh and delicious salads and daily vegan fare such as vegan somosa and flapjack - all freshly made , as well as vegan breakfast options. All alongside the excellent Yallah coffee from the local Cornish roastery brewed by helpful and welcoming baristas . All in all - a visit to yallah coffee in St Ives is not to be missed, and provides another reason to visit this gem of a place .
