The best food - Edit
Yaks is my favourite place to eat.
Read moreThe menu is amazing, with more vegan options than you know what to do with. All staff are aware of what you can and can't eat and plenty of times they have recommended dishes for me that I still order when I go back. They treat their customers like family and they cook the food like they love every dish they produce.
Pros: The food is amazing, So many vegan options , Staff treat you like family
Cons: Not close enough to where I live

Tasty with a Good Selection - Edit
I ordered a takeaway from here and though it was a little late, the food was still worth waiting for.
Read moreI got the vegan starter selection, which include items such aloo gobi, bhajis and samosas, and the veg Manchurian, both of which were more than adequate, especially the latter. For the main, I had the vegan tofu korma and vegan tofu bhuna along with chips, a roti, the veg rice and the mushroom rice. The chips were rather disappointing and roti and the rices were fairly average, as was the bhuna. However, the korma was delicious. Overall, it wasn’t the best curry I’ve ever had but the option to customise the spice on each of the main dishes made all the difference and bumped this up from a three to a four star.

Best curry in Bangor! - Edit
Definitely the best vegan curry in Bangor, been going here for years. Labelled vegetarian/vegan and owners wife is vegan so he is very understanding and accommodating! Great selection of curries and veggie starter platter is fully vegan. The Momo’s are amazing too. Staff are lovely and owner is a gem.

Fantastic vegan and veggy curries. - Edit
This is an amazing and lovely restaurant with Nepalese and Indian food. Has at least 10 veggy options with most vegan adaptable. Have sat in the restaurant and got take-out. Both are great. They have daals, masalas, Momos, pakoras and popadoms that are vegan. Staff are so friendly as well. Even on a birthday, staff came out with cake and prosecco. Best place in Bangor for eating out.

Huge interior, lots of vegan options, fried starters are very tasty, main dishes are not oily at all. Tofu is soft and not deep fried so much more healthy. Jackfruit dish was good. Friendly service. Previously had a takeaway which was also very good.

Great service and plenty vegan options - Edit
Amazing service with knowledgeable staff that know the options available in and out. Veg/vegan options clearly marked on the menu and staff can offer recommendations and alternatives to most things on the menu. I have had so many take aways from here and now ate in two or three times and the thing that stands out more than the amazing food which never disappoints is how impeccable the service is each and every time.
Read moreFor the above picture we had a tofu karahi and a chana masala, with rice, roti, garlic naan (not vegan).
Pros: Outstanding food, Great options, Knowledgable friendly staff
