Superb food - Edit
I enjoy eating here. If you arrive and place your order before 12:00pm,( should get there by 11:30) you pay one price $2.98 for (S), (M) and (L)! This is for the Dim sum menu only. Not valid on Chinese and Canadian Holidays. Cash payment only.
Read moreThere is so much variety. I usually order Pan Fried Turnip (made with rice flour and daikon radish), Steamed Seaweed and Vegetable Fritter (it has a nice crunch to it), Mushroom and Vegetable in Tofu Sachet.....just to give you an sample of what they have to offer.
They cook with lots of mushrooms and their dishes are not so heavy with the mock meats. Vegans can eat here too.
You should try their Moon Cakes when they sell them in autumn - during the Moon festival ; four different cakes in a box. These cakes are a fundraiser for their Buddhist Temple. There were no eggs in the Moon Cakes.
The restaurant is immediately south of Hwy 7 on Woodbine Ave. on east side. You will see their red Chinese lanterns out front.

Delicious Dim Sum!!! - Edit
Found this place last week while on a trip to the eastern GTA - what a fabulous find! We had various dumplings, the mixed gluten platter (always one of my favourites), spring rolls, beancurd rolls, etc., and had dinner to take home. All were spectacular and some of the best I have had!
Read moreThe presentation was gorgeous, the food was fresh, delicious, complex, and different! A really high-end feel for a buddhist restaurant. Great service (with a smile) and a really good house green tea.
I would take clients here to lunch (yes even meat eaters) and would recommend the place to anyone looking for a (particularly lunch) spot in the area (Markham/eastern GTA). We did not have reservations, but did not have to wait long (3 min.). However, it was busy, so if you are on a tight schedule, reservations may be wise(?)
Pros: Nice atmosphere and table settings, Great service and delectable food, Appeared to all be vegan
Cons: Sauces extra (only $2 for 3), Not licensed (but Buddhist, so...), Markham, out of the way sometimes...
