Disappointed.

I use to come here all the time, staff is great. Beers and cocktails are awesome. Love the atmosphere! However I’ve got the chick’n sandwich sooo many times and every time it doesn’t taste good, but when I first started going here two years ago it was amazing.
The tots are alright. The “fake meat” is just black beans though. Could definitely step their game up.

Pros: Good atmosphere , Great beer and liquor selection

Cons: Not enough flavor , Not the right texture

Good vegan options

They have a number of interesting vegan options on their menu, more than you would expect from a place that seems meat focused.

It's perfect for mixed groups, but I'd also happily come on my own just for their vegan food.

Great for mixed groups

The Wurst Bar is a great late night experience, with a decent variety of vegan options being offered, with updates and new items popping up occasionally. Most recently they added an Impossible Meatball Sub to the menu, topped with Violife mozzarella. Definitely a must try if you stop in any time soon.

Pros: Satisfies vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores, Fun, quirky atmosphere

Cons: Lack of/difficult parking

Wurst Bar

Wurst Bar is my favorite place to take groups mixed groups of vegans/non-vegans. They have quite a few options, I'm a fan of the Chick-fu and the Impossible burger. The beer selection is also great, lots of rotating options, and the staff is knowledgeable about which are vegan.

Pros: Beer selection, Great vegan options, Quirky vibe

Cons: Parking

For Carnivores and Vegans

This is a great, quirky bar to go to if you have a group of meat-eaters and vegans. Their vegan options are minimal, but it's more than a black bean burger (the classic only veg option at lots of bars). I really enjoy the Chick-Fu with tots. The sweet potato tots are like little donut holes, but I don't think the marshmallow fluff is vegan (I didn't ask). The vegan seitan brat is also very good!

Pros: tasty faux meat options for vegans, TOTS!, great draft list

Cons: limited vegan options, non-vegan marshmallow fluff

Was surprised by how great the food was! This funky bar is a hidden gem for vegan/vegetarians!! We had the click-fu (vegan), satian sausage, and vegan tots all around!!

We will be back soon to try other items!!

Pros: Wednesday night before school started. No problem

Cons: Across the street from EMU and thinking it would b

Great place to get bar food!

I really love the Wurst Bar. Bratwurst were my favorite food as a kid, and it's one of those foods that my vegan heart breaks over when I see other people eating it. The vegan bratwurst here is made out of seitan, and it's really good! I also like the chick-fu sandwich. There are a few really great options for vegans who want bar food here.

Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, great atmosphere

Hip Place, Good Drinks

Not much on hand for vegans, but more than many places in the area and imaginative - I'm happy to have real vegan food even if it's a mostly meaty place. Cool vibe inside and great drink specials with lots of Michigan and otherwise beer. Tater tot nachos - great idea!

Pros: Fun, Imaginative, Fun Atmosphere

Cons: Meaty
