Serves vegetarian food in an artsy space. Signature dish is quiche, made by one of the owners who is French. Offers one daily rice meal set plus a couple of desserts such as apple pie tarte tatin and raw black sesame tart. Relocated from 53, Qingfu Rd. Open Mon 1:30pm-7:00pm, Fri-Sun 1:30pm-7:00pm. Really nice quiche and good vibes

This restaurant has a really nice vibe and a tiny shop by the counter. The menu was easy to follow and we felt confident with our order.

There's a minimum order requirement which we interpreted as either a set meal, or a slice of quiche a drink. The quiche was fairly expensive (130 TWD per slice), but it tasted very fresh and the flavours we tried were both delicious. The minimum order requirement felt a bit unnecessary in the middle of the afternoon; I could understand if it was in place for lunch or dinner times but it was the first time we'd experienced that in Taiwan.

We had options a and c from the menu, one of which was vegan and was packed with nuts and lentils. It maybe didn't feel much like a quiche and was indistinguishable from a tart, but it had a lovely paprika flavour. The other one (not vegan) was a more traditional quiche with mushroom, pumpkin, egg and seeds, which was also very nice. The pastry was really good.

Pros: Lovely pastry, Vegan option

Cons: Minimum order felt unnecessary

Great bohemian vibes

This is a lovely small restaurant in central Chishang. The mainly western menu includes various homemade quiches (I tried the vegan stinky tofu one, which was suprisingly good!). It has some nice bohemian decorations and an overall chill vibe. Staff can speak some English and the menu also has an English translation. The quality is good, so it is well worth the price.

Pros: Good quality food, Nice interior decoration, Vegan options available

Cons: Make sure you pre-book on busy days, A bit pricey
