Great new place for vegan pizza and vegan calzones! - Edit
I was really bummed when Boss Pizza closed and wondered what restaurant would come to replace it. Recently, I noticed that Woodstone Pizza has taken over the former Boss Pizza space and was worried about if they'd have vegan options so that I could eat there. Happily, my worries were unnecessary in that they have offer both vegetarian and vegan pizzas and calzones.
Read moreUpon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by employees Jake and Mark. Jake took my order for a vegan calzone with vegan mozzarella and read back my order to make sure it was correct.My hubby ordered a medium vegetarian pizza and was happy by the amount of veggie toppings available.
Prior to hubby's pizza being done, Mark came to our table to ask hubby if he wanted the spinach on his pizza fresh or cooked. After hubby told Mark the pros and cons of fresh versus cooked spinach and Mark chose to cook it on the pizza.
The vegan calzone was delicious and toppings were perfectly cooked. I appreciated that they serve the calzone with a side of cold marinara sauce so you have a nice balance with the hot red sauce inside the calzone.
As we were enjoying our meal, both Mark and Jake stopped by our table to inquire about how our meal tasted and of there was anything else they could do for us. This level of attentiveness and care really made me feel valued as a customer.
Both Jake and Mark are friendly and personable guys who work hard to make share that each customer leaves their restaurant satisfied. Due to their vegan and vegetarian food options and great customer service, we will definitely be back again soon!
