Wooded area

A traditional style diner with a few veg options. Usually a soup and currently soup and falafel 🥙 plus salad and sweet potato chips and some form of goats cheese pie.
It's generously sized and filling.
Not for the salad dodger in your life.
Note that the doors only open if you hit the button!
Wildlife (many birds and did see a rat, but come on, it is outdoors) aplenty on the seats outside.

Pros: Hearty, filling

Unexpectedly Brilliant

If I am honest, my heart sank slightly when I saw that there was only one vegan option on the lunch menu and I feared the worst. My spirits were raised somewhat by the fact that I spied a vegan German biscuit in the display unit, but not enough to allay what I thought was coming: a pitiful falafel pita. How wrong I was! Firstly, the portion size for exceed expectations and secondly, the dish itself was superb in terms of textures and flavours. This, coupled with the aforementioned biscuit, made for a very decent meal, the likes of which I did not dare to think I would get. And the coffee was great, to boot!

UPDATE: I returned at breakfast time and while again there was only one option, it once more really delivered.

Basic but surprisingly good

We had the falafel wrap which we shared between two and it was plenty. There were no other vegan options on the menu but we were happy to see even one option. The other option was a German biscuit which we didn’t have. It was a nice surprise to find a vegan option in this little cafe.

Pros: Great location, Big outside seating area, Big portions

Cons: Wasps everywhere! , Not very friendly staff, Only one option on the menu

Falafel pocket

They have one vegan option on their menu a falafel pitta served with salad and sweet potato fries and then baked goods have a german biscuit. The falafel was good and a big serving served with a side of hummus and a tazaki suace i shared with my mum and we had more than enough for the two of us!

Perfect after walking the trails

I hadn't actually expected this cafe to have vegan options, so was pleasantly surprised when they had soya milk, a vegan main AND dessert! The menu is seasonal so will change every few months, but there's always at least one vegan option. The portion sizes are massive and the food is very good quality, so good value for money at around £9 for a main. The staff are lovely and the cafe is dog friendly.
