Serves meat, vegan options available. Crowded pizzeria. The pizza crust is vegan, and you could build your own pizza with veggies toppings. Ask for a vegan salad. Open Wed-Sun 11:30am-12:00am.
This is a popular high-end pizza restaurant in Kingston. We were disappointed that they don't have a plant-based "cheese" option and limited vegan options for pizza choices and salads.
Wooden heads is one of my favourite places to go for a nice dinner. The drinks are tasty and reasonably priced, the back patio is so cozy and cute & the vegan pizza is great. The Mandarin mixed nut salad is yummy and can easily be made vegan (remember to swap the dressing for balsamic as the original has honey I believe). Jacks Choice is the way to go when ordering a pizza as you can choose all of the toppings including the sauce. The only thing with this option is that the charge is per topping so it is easy to get out of hand (though money is saved by not adding meat or cheese).
I have eaten at Woodenheads on many occasions and they can make a vegan pizza which is quite good although they usually put too much tomato sauce on it. The last couple of times I have eaten there, the crust has been a bit on the soft side. However, they do have lots of good toppings to put on the pizza.
In the summer they have a street front patio and a patio in the rear which are quite nice; they do not take reservations for the patios. However, inside the restaurant the noise is excessive and a conversation is really a yell. However, some may feel a lot of noise just makes the place energetic so it may just come down to personal taste.

The pizza crust is vegan and you can make your own and put whatever toppings you want. Tons of vegetarian options.
A great environment and excellent service and wine list. My favorite place in kingston
Ever since we have been visiting Kingston (over some 25 yrs), we have enjoyed dining at Woodenheads because is it's fabulous pizza. I was delighted to find it listed on the Happy Cow site and am looking forward to dining there this weekend knowing it has a vegan pizza crust to complete it's array of delightful topping varieties.

Good Option - Edit
While they don’t have vegan cheese, the pizza topping options are plentiful, and the crust is delicious. They also have good cocktails.

Love to have a nicer place to go that vegan (that’s not a salad/soup lunch place)
