Delicious Nepalese food. Please note that the comment below referring to "cheesy tofu" is actually a traditional Burmese tofu made from chickpeas. The cheesy flavor and texture is the best part. Everyone should try it atleast once. It is not cheese. This place was quiet and not nearly as busy as the place nextdoor so it might throw you off, but give it a shot and you won't be disappointed. The lentil potato curry was delicious.

Poor food - Edit
Decided to give this place a go based on good reviews but sadly found the food to be generally bad. The fruit juice was bitter, the dhal tasted strange in a way that made me worry for my stomach, and the tofu in the tofu curry was barely cooked with a consistency more like cheese (although the sauce was fairly good so I could eat this with the rice, but there were no vegetables to make up for the lack of tofu). In short, I paid about 6,000mmk only to find myself hungry and still on the search for dinner.

Nice place - Edit
Nice and friendly staff. They offer variaty of vegan dishes and can adjust to your taste. They have indian, nepali, chinese and italian food.
Read moreThey use seasonal food so sometimes don't have everything in the menu.
In the menu there's a vegan focaccia but be aware it's a chapati with avocado. We explained them that that wasn't a focaccia and they were asking to know how is the focaccia and didn't charged us for it.
Good price but a bit more that local food.
Pros: Seasonal food, Speaking some English, Very friendly and understandable

Delicious and cheap - Edit
We have been at Wonderful tasty for two times. The curries sets are amazing - very big portions, with rice and chapati, soup and tamarind dip. We shared one and it was quite enough. It runs by a very friendly family and they do everything to feel satisfied.

Beautiful food - Edit
Wish I could give this place five stars! We tried the Nepali thali and Indian thali. Both were amazingly flavoursome and came with unlimited chapti and rice. Family that run this place are really lovely and helpful. Wish we had more time as I would have gone back to try more.

“Beautiful food and very attentive staff” - Edit
We went here after seeing the name and thinking it sounded cute!! The set menu here is unreal... we were amazed at the value for money and the food tasted lovely. Great place to come if in Bagan and they understood when we asked for no dairy and eggs on or in anything!! Looking forward to going back and I’ll remember to take photos next time. 💪☀️

Delicious cheap food! - Edit
Had amazingly cheap but tasty food here. Has a good menu with Thai, Nepalese and Indian food. My partner had the set menu with dhal soup, curry and unlimited rice and chappati which was really good and I had the Thai veggie curry. All vegan and spice level could be adapted on preference. Service was a little slow but the place was busy so we didn’t mind. Worth a visit for such good value for money!

Cheap, tasty food - Edit
My boyfriend and I went here for dinner. We both ordered the Indian set, which included dahl soup, veg curry and UNLIMITED rice and chapati! Very good value for money, but not authentic Indian food (more like a Myanmar version of Indian cuisine). Friendly staff & tasty food. Would recommend.

Pros: Cheap, Unlimited refills of rice & chapati :), Tasty
Cons: Not 'real' Indian cuisine
