Savory, spicy, fantastic - Edit
Veganmamabear is right, the food here is extraordinary! Ask the servers about vegan dishes- much of the menu can be made without meat, even dishes that seem like they couldn’t. I had the iron pot pork and cabbage with no pork. Was it just a pot of hot cabbage? It was, and it was amazing! Savory, juicy, so flavorful. Black vinegar, chilis, preserved mustard I think…? I also had the hand rolled dan dan noodles with no meat. Was it just a bowl of noodles with a little sauce? Yes, the same way that the collected poems of Emily Dickinson is just a bunch of little squiggles on paper. And the staff is so nice! Go here when you are feeling hungry and empty and this place will take care of you. I am SO full right now and I can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful interior and good food - Edit
Popular sit down restaurant has a very nice ambiance inside with traditional decor. Food comes out fast and is flavorful. There’s also outdoor seating for those who prefer to avoid indoors.

Excellent Chinese Food - Edit
Millbrae is full of famous Chinese food, and this restaurant is one of the most highly rated elsewhere. This place is really special.
Read moreEasy to navigate what is vegan on the menu, and staff know what “vegan” means.
Food was extraordinary! We enjoyed a noodle dish, spicy potatoes, green beans, and a tofu dish.
The green onion pancakes are steamed, but the sauce is not even vegetarian, so make sure if you order them you specifically ask for no sauce.
Pros: Staff understands “vegan”, “Accidentally” vegan options on the menu
Cons: Specifically ask for no special sauce, has pork:(
