Nice breakfast stop - Edit
On our way to southern Illinois, this was a nice stop about 3 hours into our drive. The avocado toast has just enough heat 🔥with the pepper flakes.

The food was okay, if not overpriced. $10 for a smoothie? This isn't a major city; it' s small town in northern WV that I visited while passing through. One of the highlights was a peanut butter shake called "Pure Heaven." Tasty, but the server neglected to use the plant-based protein (as requested, and paid for). I was in "pure" agony for hours afterwards. Also, my travel companion specifically asked for a salad with greens (not spiralized noodles - guess what they got? The noodles! Ugh).
Read moreI am also pretty sure that the stuff that they sell is *not* what they use in their shakes; it has a totally different taste. That seems misleading to me, but that's just my opinion.
If you're starving, and don't want "fast food," this place could save you, but be prepared for sticker shock and incorrect orders.

Their Roasted Veggie salad was exactly the hearty meal I was hungry for, especially after skipping lunch. It was piled high with root vegetables and quinoa, raisins added a balancing touch of sweetness, served with plenty of dressing, and I was bummed to discover I’d finished it before taking a picture. Filled me up!

Located in the adorable section of town, Winnie’s has a very cozy feel with staff that go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and have a great experience!
