Sadly they were sold out of the vegan buns when we went so we did not get to try. They did offer us loaded fries though

NZ Favourite - Edit
This is my favourite spot to visit whenever I’m in New Zealand. I had the proper hot fried shrooms with a side of the fried greens. Mushrooms were tasty, spicy but not too spicy, crispy and just so yummy. I can’t wait until I can come back

Surprising number of vegan options for a place that prides itself on its fried chicken! A trip here keeps the meat eaters in the family happy. After eating the fried mushrooms 🍄 there wasn’t mush room left in my belly for any more goodies

I had The Vegan (burger) and the fried mushrooms here and both were great! Definitely not a healthy meal, but they do have vegan salads and charred greens available. I just wish I’d been able to order a beer with my meal but it’s an unlicensed venue

Amazing vegan food. Burgers, jackfruit, crumbed mushrooms, sweet potato fries and more. Just wish they had a great free bun. They still made a tasty meal with a bunnice (lettuce) wrap and filling 😀

Came here after a disappointing search for some vegan food and wasn’t expecting all that much to be honest. Like the title says we were impressed! The menu was easy to read and they had clear labels that indicated vegan or vegetarian. Super easy to order.

Read moreHad the vegan burger. Came with BBQ jackfruit, tobacco onions, slaw and vegan mayo and it was the best! Really tasty! And had the vegan shrooms n mayo for a side and Theo two complement each other perfectly. And they also had a vegan peanut butter pie which was fantastic! Definitely worth the visit if you are near. And great helpful staff too.
Would give 5 stars but can't because it servers meat.

I had a special ‘Kogi’ burger and it was bomb! Cannot wait to go back and try the jackfruit one. They also have cabinet salad and vegan pies. Yummmmm

Winner winner is a good option for vegan fastfood. For large appetites: the pulled jackfruit burger is great and for those who don't want that much: the shrooms (with fries I would do!) are excellent too and a bit less heavy!
