Delights of the orient

After the health food shops, pop in here for vegan treats and staples. Massive selection of frozen and fresh vegan foods. Always tonnes of tofu and veggies.

Great supermarket

Lovely fresh mochi and a few other vegan sweets eg red bean buns in the freezer. Good selection of meat alternatives including tofu, vegan chicken, mock duck, beancurd, sausages and burgers, jerky, etc etc across various aisles (fridge, freezers, dried foods and canned foods). I have found vegan fish sauce and vegan curry pastes in there too.

Other vegan-friendly Asian staples like oyster mushrooms, pak choi, dumplings, bao, various types of noodles and rice available.

Reasonably priced and helpful staff. Great place to find a new favourite ingredient!

Awesome Supplies for veggies/vegans

This store is super useful for anyone who is veggie or vegan to pick up very well priced food to make at home.

They stock a bunch of different variations of tofu, as well as tins of fake chicken, pork and duck. AND tins of jackfruit. Along with all the regulars things you'd expect from a Chinese Supermarket; i.e. noodles, fun desserts, sauces, spices etc.

Pros: Awesome Prices, Good selection of faux-meats, Jack Fruit!

Step into the wonders of Tofu

One of the best Chinese supermarkets I've been to. If you want tofu, then tofu is waiting for you here. Silken, firm, medium, spiced, fried, crispy, dried, marinated and lollipop. Stocked up on some great tofu jerky, regular firm tofu blocks (more like bricks) and gorgeous crispy puffed tofu chunks. There is also a bewildering range of soy sauces here, condiments, marinades and sauces. Naturally, there's a lot of meat here but it can be avoided of you're careful. The Chinese certainly love their tofu and I am impressed with the range in this store.

Pros: lots of tofu, tofu jerky, soy sauces

Cons: meat
