Pleasant visit! - Edit
There have been several cafes in this location during the course of time, and before I became vegan I went there very often, because the location is so beautiful. Very nice and stylish indoors, and outdoor seating in a lovely and quiet place in the old town of Mainz. Unfortunately, the vegan options were very limited, and when "Wilma Wunder" took over a few years ago, it was the same: only salad and zoodles, and a hefty surcharge for vegan milk for the coffee.
Read moreBut thankfully, this has changed: nowadays they have at least one option in every "food category" on the menu, e.g. a vegan breakfast, a Flammkuchen, a Schnitzel, a dessert, soup, salad... and coffee is the same price whichever milk you choose. Vegan options are clearly labelled.
Everything I have tried so far was very tasty and staff is very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our visit a lot!
