Good food, friendly staff but needs a shake up! - Edit

This place deserves better than 2 stars! I will be e-mailing Head Office because in a crowded market (Pizza Express, Zizzis, Ask Italia at al) they need to up their game if they want to survive. Positives first - the food is good and there's a separate vegan menu with good choices and the staff were great but they were kids under extreme pressure. The place was busy and the 3 youngsters on duty did their best but they were trying to serve perhaps 80 customers. And this was a Monday! What's it like at weekend? 30 minutes to get drinks (there was no dedicated bar person), another 45 minutes before we got food. Get a grip - 2 extra staff members might have cost you a couple of hundred quid at most but your customers would have been better served! We may be back, many others won't be.

Pros: Good vegan options

Cons: So slow!

Nice food, poor service - Edit

My husband and I went in for an early dinner while visiting Ludlow. We were one of two tables in there but they still took ages to take our order. We both had pizzas (good to see they offered vegan cheese and gluten free options) which were very nice but they forgot my husband's sweet potato fries on the order so these arrived when we'd almost finished. We shared the dessert (only one on specials, nothing on normal menu) which was pretty good but they forgot to bring my peppermint tea with it so we gave up on that one! Then we couldn't get the bill! All in all a nice cosy restaurant and great to see a separate vegan menu but such slow confused service that day.
