Varied Menu, Good Value - Edit
We enjoyed everything we tried including salad, burger, mushroom fritters and desserts. Had a busy Cow Hollow vibe on a Friday night, service was attentive and prices in the high teens for many items were a good value.

Solid vegan option - Edit
We had a great dinner here. You definitely need a reservation. I’m inclined to go to Rad Radish instead when in SF, same owner, similar menu, easier and less $. However Wildseed has some other options and is a nicer dining experience.

Delicious & friendly - Edit
Went on a busy Saturday night with a reservation. Very helpful server which was lovely. We lved the spicy pizza's crust & the Amarillo sauce on the tofu shish kabob. Cheesecake is very lemon-y & the skillet cookie is tasty & fun. Second yummy visit- expensive but great fit a special occasion.

Good place to take Omni friends - Edit
Disclaimer: I really don’t like vegan cheese. So keep this in mind.
Read moreWent with a group of vegan and omnivorous friends. Everyone enjoyed it — the pizzas and pastas were a particular hit. I liked the salads, but I should have asked for cheese on the side. The flavor was a bit too salty and the texture was off.

Excellent! - Edit
We loved everything we tried here— my favorites were the autumn salad which included kale, arugula, delicate squash, and cranberries, and for dessert the warm chocolate chip cookie. We also enjoyed the eggplant parm, orichette with broccoli and sausage, the fall squash pizza, and the apple crumble. All excellent!

A must try for vegans!

Incredible food and lovely ambiance - Edit
The food here was outstanding and there was a great deal of choice. The Menu was centred on in season produce too. Highly recommend the tofu skewer and the mezze share plate.

Wildseed: A Unique Vegan Dining Experience with Room for Improvement - Edit
I recently dined at Wildseed, a fully vegan restaurant with a focus on seasonal dishes. The uniqueness of their offerings truly stands out, which is something I appreciate. While I would have gladly given them 4.5 stars if I could, I’ll round up to be generous.
Read moreAs a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of vegan cheeses, especially in the United States. Eager to explore this, I ordered dishes loaded with cheese for both the appetizer and main. However, I quickly regretted this decision after the first bite as the cheese flavor came off as somewhat chemical and made me feel queasy.
Fortunately, I was able to change my main course to something with less cheese, and that turned out to be a wise move. The dishes were delicious, but one notable hiccup was the timing of the courses. Our main courses didn’t arrive simultaneously, and the side dish meant to accompany them came out during the appetizer.
The restaurant was packed, and this seemed to leave little time for attentive service. On a positive note, the staff was exceptionally friendly. Given the price, the restaurant’s image, and the other reviews I’d read, my expectations were slightly higher than what was delivered. I believe that if they focus on improving the quality of service, timing, and overall dining conditions, Wildseed could truly be exceptional.

So Tasty and Elegant! - Edit
So nice to experience a fine dining all vegan restaurant with flavorful dishes. I had the corn cakes, and the spicy yellow curry (perfect choice for the chili SF evening). My delicious meal was complemented by the fresh watermelon soda and finished it off with the chocolate cake and decaf latte. Be sure to make a reservation!

Tasty vegetable-focused meals - Edit
I love going to places that aren’t just all impossible/beyond burgers. Their food is vegetable heavy so it feel really healthy and tasty. I got the corn cakes, the broccoli and mushrooms, and the tofu skewer

Great, but inconsistent - Edit
I really enjoyed this place and had a great lunch. It was a little inconsistent (bowls were not as good as salads or sandwiches) but ultimately a great choice.

We had one of our best plant based meals ever, we travel all over the world and try as many vegan restaurants as we can, Wildseed stands out with incredible quality and creativity! We are coming back every night while we are in San Francisco, the staff was wonderful as well!

THE BEST - Edit
Fun high energy location. Great cocktails. Wild seed burger (mushroom + spinach) is the best burger we have ever tasted (and it’s not soy- yay). We also love the paella with veggies and sausage.

The food was really good. Be careful though if you’re celiac as me as cross-contamination is an issue there.

Yum - Edit
I LOVED the Mexican Corn Cakes, LOVED the Risotto Pomodoro, but when I went back the next day, the mushroom fritters just didn’t sit right. They were delish, but I think it was just too much oil/frying.

Happy Dance - Edit
Wildseed, oh Wildseed, how you have captured my heart with your delicious vegan cuisine! I walked in skeptical, but left as a full-blown believer in the power of plant-based goodness. The menu is a bit daunting, but don't fret, the servers are more helpful than a GPS when you're lost on a road trip.
Read moreThe food was so good, I think it might actually be possible that I hallucinated the whole experience.
My other vegan friend was equally thrilled with their meal, and I swear I saw them do a little happy dance in their seat (or they had to pee really bad, I've been wrong before). The ambiance is great too, with a cool lil vibe that screams "I'm trendy, but also down to earth."
Your taste buds will thank you, and you might even convert a carnivore into a veggie lover.
