barely vegan-friendly - Edit
We found this listing on Happycow and since there weren't many vegan options on a Sunday noon in this part of Ghent, we decided to give it a try. The only option on the menu that was labeled vegan, was the yoghurt. And they only mentioned it because they charge €1 extra for vegan yoghurt... Since every savoury item on their menu mentioned cheese, we asked about their vegan options. They checked with the kitchen and they said they could omit the cheese from the funghi toast, so we both ordered this one with a vegan cappuccino (peas milk). The cappuccino was quite ashy and tasted like burnt coffee beans. It came with non-vegan bread pudding. And the funghi toast was with a cream sauce of which I still don't know whether it was vegan or not. They still charged the full price too.
Read moreOn their Instagram feed, I did see some decent-looking vegan options in the past, so I guess we got unlucky with their current menu. Hopefully they will think things through in the future, because right now it just feels like an afterthought.

Homemade & seasonal kitchen. Faciliteren in de zomer soms yoga vegan brunch (zie Instagram pagina). Nog geen uitgebreide vegan kaart, maar vegan cake was beschikbaar als ook wat vegan bites (olijven). Verder homemade limonades etc.
