I was surprised by how many vegan options there were. You don’t see a place on the coast like this often! We had the vegan tempeh Rueben and vegan lasagna plus a couple of their raw sweet treats. Their soup is also usually vegan.

Wild has it all. They have grab-and-go deli sandwiches, wraps and treats (curried yam wrap, tempeh Rueben sandwich, nut-butter balls, coconut bars). You can stock up on snacks and even groceries too, they have an amazing selection of brews, wines, chips, pickles, etc. If your looking for the best vegan food on the coast, you must visit Wild.

I found this store/restaurant in 2015 when it was Mother's Nature and went back a couple of times after a couple of years. Now is Wild Manzanita and the store has grown for better.
Read moreEvery time I go they have vegan lasagna, which is delicious. I also tried the Roasted Cauliflower Green Garlic Pesto Burrito, which is also vegan, Reuben sandwich, and different soups. Desserts are also wonderful!
They also serve espresso coffee and many more. There is a great selection of spices, teas, vegan products, and more.
Yum! Yum!

Great 🥪 takeaway for the beach - Edit
A lovely little shop with a few sandwich and a soup option. The Ruben and rainbow wrap was very good. The soup of the day was so-so, but homemade. Some great vegan staples available as well.

Consistently high quality, freshly-made deli food in this little health food market. Standouts include the rainbow wrap, tabbouleh, tempeh reuben, lasagna, cookies. Good coffee and fresh juice too. Expanded seating in 2023. A destination whenever visiting/passing through manzanita.

This market is very cute with a lot of grocery options, a nice deli counter, and some indoor seating. The vegan Reuben was very good! Will be back the next time we are in town!

Great find in a little town - Edit
I stumbled across this place while walking along the Main Street through town. They offered vegan burritos, lasagna, and tempeh Reubens. They also offer milk alternatives for their lattes including soy and hemp. I ordered the Reuben and a small soy latte and enjoyed them both.

Cute Little Coastal Store/Deli - Edit
I stopped in for the first time and grabbed a few things. It’s a store and also has a little deli. I ordered the vegan tempeh reuban sandwich and vegan burrito to go. Both were delicious! I also picked up a few of the store items to bring back home.

It has always been good to know that this store was here to rely on when visiting Manzanita. Besides the vegan product options, they have a deli case with several vegan lunch and bakery options. I like what I have had here; last time I had the tempeh rueben twice!

Great but wished it was all vegan - Edit
Great shop for non meat snacks and refilling to minimise waste, but I couldn’t help but wish that it was all vegan instead of having to read the labels. This kind of place would benefit from it and then everyone could eat everything!

Nice surprise! - Edit
We were looking for some vegan friendly car snacks (thinking there wasn’t much for us along the coast!) and instead found a spot to sit and eat 😋 I had the vegan mac and cheese and browsed the shop whilst waiting - we picked up some vegan peanut butter cups too! The Mac and cheese was good and exactly what we needed for a rainy afternoon.
