Lovely Sunday roast - Edit
Had the whipped feta bruschetta to start followed by the wellington roast dinner. Both courses were delicious Would recommend.

Had a couple of pints & chips at the Wig & Mitre - separate frier for GF stuff which is always a major green food-hygiene-flag! Vegan & GF options are clearly labelled and staff helpful & friendly. Could do with some more options that are both vegan AND gluten-free, but was really nicely surprised for an old pub!

We called in hopefully for vegan food as not originally on HappyCow. We were only looking for vegan food for an evening meal. They had two options as mains. Mac and cheese and a moving mountain burger. We had the mac and cheese which was very good, good portion size and very tasty. We also had cheesy chips which were also good. We saw someone having the burger and that also looked good. We also had a vegan apple crumble and custard and also sorbet as desert which was also good. So although only two options for main they were good.
