Yummy but cold - Edit
Honestly love this place, but was disappointed that half our food was tepid to cold. Crunch wrap and chili cheese fries - hot and delicious. Chicken bacon ranch mac and potato soup - cold (but still tasty). Was also disappointed that the napkins, water cups, straws, and to-go containers were all disposable (which used to not be the case). I hope these small gripes will not always be the case bc I really want this place to continue to thrive.

💯vegan deliciousness - Edit
My husband and I found this little place on our way back home to Florida. We love supporting vegan places and this restaurant was a delightful surprise. I loved the Buddha bowl and my husband enjoyed a flavorful bowl of curry. The server was attentive and accommodating and the food came out fast. Everything was fresh, delicious, flavorful and reasonably priced. I wish we lived closer!!!!!

So flavorful! - Edit
Ordered take out. They were so friendly, prompt service. I had the Buddha Biwk. Wow, so yummy. The teriyaki tofu in it was the best I’ve ever had. Perfect balance of ingredients. Was so large, I got 2 meals out of it. I live in Madison where we have a few vegan/vegetarian restaurants, but I have not been impressed with them. This is most delicious vegan lunch fare I’ve found in Wisconsin.

A Magical Place - Edit
This place has soooo good I want to add a cuss word to my review! Where to start - customer service is seriously ON POINT -- we came 2 days in a row and met Abbi, Alex & Sophie, employees who are phenomenal human beings. They were patient, kind, welcoming and educated us on all the delicious choices Wicked Willow has to offer. We laughed and joked, which made the experience that much better. You can tell they enjoy their positions.
Read moreThe menu is extensive and creative. I loved the crunchwrap so much, you have no idea! Delicious sauces like chipotle ranch, cilantro sauce and sour cream were the icing on the cake. We also had their chili (that was ok), the fries (DELICIOUS) with 1000 island for dipping and the quesadilla (we ordered that and the crunch wrap twice 😀. The food was fresh, fast, made in house and the presentation was on point! I wish I could eat here every day. The drinks are divine and very generous - they also come in some awesome cups if you dine in. I had a hot chai with lavender (flavors are free; add as many as you like), very frothy and nice. And then the next day I had an iced butter pecan latte, holy ish! Too good!
The carrot cake and lemon brownies were so friggin good! Just unreal!
The building is in the cutest area! And inside you'll find unique decor, art, jewelry, and many other interesting things to look at.
Go there, support this 100% vegan establishment. You will not be disappointed! 5 stars!
Pros: 100% vegan, Generous portions, Affordable

Such a Wonderful Restaurant! - Edit
We have been eating at the Wicked Willow for years and were so sad when the original owners decided to get out of the restaurant business. After months of veganless options in the area, we were so excited when the restaurant reopened. The quality and variety of the food is wonderful! And we are so happy that the WW folks listen to their customers, keeping some favorite specials (like the falafel). There are so many great options to choose from, from mac and cheese to the terrific corn chowder. You will not be disappointed!

Best Mac EVER - Edit
Wicked Willow has the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had! I had the Buffalo Mac. Worth the 3 hour drive and planning to go back. The employees were very friendly and answered all our questions and gave recommendations. The atmosphere is great and chill. My (non-vegan) parents had the nachos and they loved them.

Amazing Vegan Food in Central WI - Edit
One of my favorite vegan restaurants in the state! It is such a great stop if you are ever in Stevens Point, or even just driving through to go further north. My favorite thing on the menu is the chili Mac, but I can also say amazing things about the breakfast sandwich and seasonal campfire burger. They have fantastic baked goods as well - the coffee cake and s'mores bars are to die for 🤤

Edited to update: This place changed hands and reopened. The new staff is AMAZING, very capable and welcoming. Menu is fun and specials rotate often. There is a GF menu and loads of GF baked goods are available, plus the staff has good awareness of celiac disease. We have had absolutely zero less-than-awesome experiences since this place was reopened with new management. We love it here.

They have a ton of different servers and they’re often not great at serving. Either they’re scrambling for just a few tables and you’re sitting and waiting a long time, or they’re short and rude. I used to be a server so I know good service and the service just kind of lacks here. They charge an immediate 18% gratuity for parties of 4 or more. If you come with your wife and two kids, be prepared to be charged a party gratuity! (I tip really, really well so they’re not doing themselves any favors with this.) The menu is great, but occasionally you’ll get a plate that isn’t amazing. Do not recommend fish tacos. Definitely recommend the gyro or the southwest nachos! They have tons of gluten free options and substitutions but be prepared to pay like $4 more per dish for the gluten free option.

The perfect place at the perfect time! - Edit
My family and I were visiting town to attend a funeral, and discovered Wicked Willow. A vegan restaurant made us all so happy! We ordered loaded nachos, spring rolls, carrot cake, the Wicked sandwich and the Gyro. Everything was delicious, and the staff was both compassionate and helpful. The food, people, and atmosphere helped with our healing. We will absolutely return next time we’re in town!

Reopened with new menu and new hours - Edit
I'm glad Wicked Willow has reopened! It's so nice to have a 100% vegan restaurant in central WI. The restaurant has changed from a sit-down restaurant to where you now order at the counter. As the restaurant has a new menu, I wanted to update my review.
Read moreAbout 1/3 of the current menu is sandwiches, which makes sense given their current hours. With all the sandwich options, my partner and I decided to each order a sandwich: Tofu Reuben and Gyro Sandwich. Both of us thought our sandwiches were tasty and flavorful.
I was sad that several of the specialty mac & cheeses were cut from the new menu. I hope they bring back some of the macs as specials.

New favorite restaurant! - Edit
Being a vegan and finding vegan restaurants in central Wisconsin can be so hard! I was very happy to find the wicked willow and even happier to see it had such good reviews! I went there with my friend and we ordered nachos to share. The food was absolutely delicious! But the wait was kinda long and it was a little pricey. I left wicked willow with a full stomache and a new favorite restaurant. I definitely want to visit again soon!
