Racist Employee - Edit
My family spends hundreds of dollars at this store location every week. Last night, I purchased a $12 dollar salad that I needed to return due to delicate dietary restrictions.
Read moreI entered the location this afternoon and had a racist experience with your employee Sam (caucasian female, 5’0 long hair, appears to be in her early 40’s)
I had left my receipt at home (I live just a few minutes away) but I checked the store policy and saw that my transaction could be looked up in the store system.
I explained this to Sam and even showed her my bank statement which showed the last four digits of my card that matched the receipt. She suggested that I had taken the item from another store and was fraudulently trying to return it at this location. Instead of simply letting me know I needed the receipt or that it was store policy or saying nothing, she told me “This item is sold at other stores so it could be a fraudulent return.” This was completely insulting to me and the complete opposite of how I’ve been treated by the other employees at this location. I’m extremely disappointed and will be sharing my experience on social media.
Cons: customer service

Unreliable - Edit
This Whole Foods has always been super unreliable in terms of availability of vegan items. The hot bar is pretty sad in general in that one whole steam table was empty and unused, and frequently has zero tofu/tempeh/seitan and a lot of dairy cheesy items that just sit out. No vegan pizzas (I was told yesterday) and no prominent vegan labeling. Even Publix now has more variety of vegan yogurt and faux meats, which is plain sad. Good produce section and adequate nuts. Overall, they have done better and they could if they were motivated.

Quality Whole Foods but Smaller - Edit
This is more of a neighborhood market Whole Foods as it is a lot smaller than most. Even the Altamonte one down the street is larger and I would recommend over this one.

friendly yet small - Edit
This is the only Whole Foods in the area and it is incredibly tiny! Of course they cannot offer everything that a larger store would have but the staff is very helpful if you need something they do not sell. Someone ordered an item they did not carry for me and now it is on the shelf!

Great Store - Edit
I love Whole Foods! This one is the closest option to my house. They have a lot of vegan yummies down the isles and all that - but their bakery section unfortunately doesn't have any vegan cookies or sweets. Their hot food section didn't have too much either. Another review said they have vegan doughnuts, though, so I'll be looking more closely for those next time! A great store, overall, they fit a lot of products in a smaller location. Love shopping here as opposed to the closer places to me like publix.

Cons: No vegan bakery items :(, Not much vegan hot food :(, Smaller than many Whole Foods

I totally agree! The new one near Dr. Phillips is far much better. However, it's quite a drive, but well worth it. A larger store with plenty of options. The Winter Park store needs to re-think, re-group, or just shut down. And...I would be very careful with their prepare foods, just because it has a label calling it Vegan, doesn't mean it's true. I have so many issues with this particular store.
