It’s a Whole Foods! - Edit
Lots of vegan grocery items with some grab-and-go food items. This visit saw multiple vegan cookies and donuts in the bakery and a prepared TTLA in the prepared sandwich section. Not necessarily a vegan paradise but will certainly do in a pinch!

Sad produce - Edit
They are really best for a grab’n’go lunch. Get a pizza or sandwich made if not into the salad/hot bar. Produce looks sad sometimes and that’s a big turn-off, they just don’t seem to sell it fast enough.

Good food bar - Edit
The food bar options are decent and all ingredients are clearly labeled. The bakery is disappointing though. Usually just 1-2 vegan cookies and some pre-packaged and expensive cakes slices and mini tarts. BUT, the vegan cookies they do have are great. The chocolate chip is my favorite.

Not Really a Whole Foods for Vegans - Edit
There are some Whole Foods that have a lot for vegan options in the bakery case, in the refrigerated case, on the buffet, etc. This isn't one of them. When I went, they had a few different kinds of tofu on the buffets, one cookie, no cupcakes. The buffet stuff was overflowing the non-vegan food onto and into the vegan). There are standard vegan foods in the store though. Good chocolate selection. :)

Spacious as usual, with liquor on the side - Edit
This is standard fare for a new Whole Foods Market. When you walk in, though, the liquor is on the right, so hit it up if you are interested or keep on if you are not. As you continue into the store, you are greeted by plenty of fresh, local and organic produce. Take your pick! Prices are typical WF prices, with specials drawing in your attention to save a few bucks.
Read moreAs you walk around the store, you find your dairy and freezer cases for your favorite items like Soy Delicious coconut yogurt, flax milk, WF brand organic almond milk, frozen organic berries for your smoothies, faux meat, prepared meals and the like. If you need chips or bread or grains, yes, you'll be fine here, too. Coffee, tea, beverages? Yes yes and yes. Some canned beans or olive oil, red wine vinegar or salsa? It's all here. They have a few ethnic ingredients too, especially for Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Thai and Japanese style cooking.
Baked goods are plentiful here, too. Pick up a delicious treat of cookies or muffins made in-house and vegan. Or… if you can't get to Chicago, snag a piece of cake from Chicago Diner… oh yes, Caramel Crunch is here……… if you've had it, you'll never forget it. It's still good in a plastic container from the bakery case of a MN Whole Foods!
Pros: Chicago Diner Dessert, Produce plentiful, All basics here!
Cons: A bit pricey, Location maybe not convenient
