Slim on options compared to others

Compared to other Whole Foods, I’ve found this location to be hit or miss for a lot of vegan basics. They do have a lot of vegan baked goods like cakes, cookies, and donuts which is nice. This location can get some pretty intense lines, so be prepared for that if you are in a rush. Plenty of parking in the lot in front-otherwise there’s a parking garage near it.

Some vegan standards

It’s always nice to get the staples but there’s really nothing special

Pros: Standards

Cons: Nothing special

Whole Foods Market

Nice and clean Whole Foods in Kailua where you can pick up a lunch / snacks to take to the beach. Had all the vegan staples I needed. This location is much nicer than the one located in the Kahala mall, but there is a new location in Waikiki that blows this one away. That said, given a nice Down to Earth is a block away from this Whole Foods, I'm more inclined to go there since it's an all vegetarian store.

Whole Foods - Kailua

Has a variety of vegan products. The bakery has vegan cookies, cakes in a couple of sizes as well as vegan doughnuts, muffins, and sometimes pies. The hot bar has a few vegan options and check out the deli for vegan options like buffalo Beyond Meat strips, buffalo tofu and vegan mac and cheese breaded balls. There is usually a vegan pizza by the slice offered at the prepared foods area or you can order a whole vegan pizza with options such as soyrizo, tempeh, vegan pepperoni - they have a 2 pizzas for $26.00 offer with up to 3 toppings.

Pros: Vegan Products, Vegan Bakery Options, Will give you ice for your cold items

Good Whole Foods

I've seen better Whole Foods for vegan food. But I've also definitely seen worse. They gets points just for having a fully stocked section of Beyond Burgers and Beyond Sausage. Much of the fruit is sourced from HI (good local papayas, avocados, pineapple, tomatoes, bananas), as are many of the veggies. You can get vegan donuts and lots of options on hold and cold bars, sandwich counter, burrito station, etc. They can also make custom vegan cakes in the bakery department. It is almost always incredibly crowded (nothing new for Whole Foods, though).

Pros: Custom vegan cakes

Cons: I've seen better vegan selections at other WF

Loved this Whole Foods

Good sized WF and not too busy, fun vegan options at the sandwich and pre-made food bars. We were kayaking to Moke’s Island that day and meant to make a picnic the night before but ran out of time- this Whole Foods saved our butts and we put together a great ready-made picnic on our way over :)

Pros: Pre-made vegan options , Vegan sandwiches
