Overrated - Edit
This store has become disappointing. I used to like going there to see what new vegan products were available and now it’s just majorly lacking. There aren’t anywhere near enough vegan baked goods or meals to go as there should be for such a huge company that bases their model on being healthy. It’s pathetic.

Many vegan products - Edit
It's a good place to buy vegan products. They usually say when products are local, which is also a good thing. Too bad they are Amazon's 😞

Cambie has gone SOOO downhill, be honest - Edit
I bought some fruit bowls about a month ago; one contained a gummy candy in the bottom, the other contained a toothpick. I called them immediately and the assistant manager listened but was not too concerned. My letter to the store manager was ignored, I sent a picture. Last Sunday, I purchased a fruit bowl again and the papaya was just gross! Hard and tasteless and cut in a huge chunk. Definitely a place to start not shopping at.

Vegan Eden - Edit
Great selection of vegan fresh products, at the bakery section especially. Scrumptious vegan brownies, pudding, pies, cakes, parfaits. Vegan faux meat, alternative cheese, dairy free ice cream, milk, yogurt. So much to buy! The vegan pizza they prepare there is delicious. We ordered a vegan pizza (just sauce and mozzarella) and it was to die for.

Impressive - Edit
I had never been in a Whole Foods, but was happy to find out that there was one just below our friend's condo when we were visiting Vancouver. Some things are pricy, so I only bought specialty items that might not be easy to find elsewhere. The selection of vegan items is huge. The have a fantastic selection of Gardein, Field Roast, and other brands and...lots of Kombucha! They also have bottled fresh juices made in-store that were really good. The only thing I wish is if the soy yogourts/milks were all together in the refrigerated section so that I can see all of my options a little easier, as they're randomly dispersed with the dairy products. I can see why the store gets called "Whole Paycheck", but they do have mostly everything from produce to hygiene/beauty care to anything and everything in between.

Very good selection but unpleasant for vegetarians - Edit
I stopped buying there as meat products are very prevalent in this shop. The ever-present stench of meat/seafood is really unpleasant, and I remember a occasions where "fresh" meat/seafood was actively promoted.
