Full-on Whole Foods

This is a large scale--for Brooklyn, at least--supermarket with prepared foods and bakery, some items of which are "vegan"-identified.
The store is busy in the afternoons and evenings, but easier to negotiate early and late.
Staff at the front desk was helpful when I was trying to track down a grain which it turned out they did not carry.

Pros: Good vegan selection

Cons: Pricey

Great Whole Foods

Spacious, fantastic selection and only rarely crowded. Probably the best in NYC.

pretty good

Great selection of nice produce, frozen vegan things, dry goods, and especially beer. I feel like they could do better with the refrigerated vegan products, especially their yogurt selection which is pretty lackluster.

Pros: beautiful produce

Cons: lack of vegan yogurt varieties

This place is amazing but Chickpea and Olive has moved to the Williamsburg WF.

The Greatest.

If someone ever asked me where's the best Whole Foods in town, I'll definitely tell them to hop over to Gowunas.
You guys have the best stock. You guys are in a more diverse location so I don't ever feel any sorts of discomfort like I do in Williamsburg. You guys are a huge store & have the cutest upstairs area & that's what Gowunas needs. There's times I go grocery shopping & just go upstairs, sit & write & relax. You guys made that possible for me to do because it's not as busy & loud as other Whole Foods & it's more comforting. The outside sitting is the best.

Amazing!

Like the description already says, this Whole Foods is huge! And the best part is, they do have a herb garden on top of the roof and you can have a look into it.
