Ever-increasing vegan & GF options - Edit
It might be my imagination, but I feel like my little Arlington Whole Foods had a lot of vegan products before other, bigger WF stores did. Nearly half the milk and yogurt section is made up of vegan nut-based alternatives, pretty much any vegan cheese I've heard of I've seen here, and there are plenty of tofu, seitan and tempeh products to choose from. There are loads of vegan frozen meals for when you're feeling lazy, and there's always a vegan pizza available by the slice. Additionally, the produce section has featured a lot more local stuff lately.
Read moreThere are also a lot of pre-made vegan gluten-free products - frozen pizzas, burritos and mac & cheese, and cookies and desserts that are mostly locally or regionally made.
Pros: Something for every dietary restriction
Cons: Expensive, but it's Whole Foods - you know that
