Love! - Edit
I’m super thrilled that this Whit’s location has the vegan flavors actually on their line. I’ve been to other Whits’ but usually the custard is kept in the freezer and they can kinda zhuzh it up for you. But love that they have weekly vegan flavors.

Delicious shakes and Sundays - Edit
They have a rotating weekly vegan flavor plus their vanilla is vegan. You can get a 100% vegan shake and Sundays either multiple topping that are clearly labeled as vegan or not. Seriously delicious shakes. And pints to go. Fresh fruit , candy , syrups and nuts as toppings.

Worth the drive! - Edit
Of all the Whit's locations in Columbus, this was the only one that had non-dairy options when I lived there. I lived in the Gahanna area and several times each summer I would make the drive to Clintonville just for their non-dairy milkshakes! They were absolutely worth it! They always had several flavors! They even had a whole freezer of just vegan ice creams! They truly went above and beyond for vegans and anyone who is dairy-free and I really appreciated it!

Cons: Small, not much seating, Only one whit's location offered non-dairy

Good vegan ice cream. Oat milk ice cream is the best I’ve ever had.

Something was missing - Edit
Granted I only tried one flavor, the vegan options seemed a bit....freezer burnt? A strange texture. Jenni’s ice cream is my go to in Columbus.

Delicious Vegan Icecream! - Edit
I have been vegan for over a year and one thing I have missed so much since going vegan wasn’t Dairy Queen blizzards! Until now, I had yet to find a place that offered this type of option. Luckily, Whits developed vegan flavors that can be made into “Whitsters” which is essentially a blizzard. They not only offer a variety of different flavors (marshmellow brownie, black raspberry chip, cookies and cream peanut butter, etc) but they also offer a variety of different toppings and sauces (cookies and cream, brownies (from patty cake) that can be mixed into their icecream! It is a coconut base although not overpowering or even noticeable as I am not a huge coconut fan. The texture is creamy and tastes like dairy ice cream. Additioanlly, they offer cookie ice cream sandwiches which are phenomenal along with vegan ice cream cakes. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate to the vegan community and offer an abundance of choices that do not make you feel limited in anyway when eating with non-vegan friends/family. This is some of the best ice cream I have ever had period! Strongly recommend!
