Tasty but expensive

Tried their boiled peanuts, Brussels sprouts, lemon cake and one another cake. It was delicious but way expensive. $30-40 per person I would say.

Pros: Food quality, Ambience

Cons: Price, Slow Service

Props to a southern style kitchen for having clearly labeled vegan options. That said, I thought the food was just okay. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return or recommend it but if you are looking for a bar in downtown Raleigh where you can eat, this is fine. It might be a good fit for you. Out of everything I tried, I would recommend the Brussels sprouts. I was excited that they had a vegan cake but it was served cold in the middle (the middle of the cake was visibly a different color due to this) which is disappointing for a $9 slice of cake.

Pros: Clearly labeled options , Good space with outdoor seating options as well

Grain bowl. Okay but pretty much just ate the veggies off top, wasn’t a fan of the grain part of the bowl at Whiskey Kitchen in Raleigh

Boiled peanuts… not as bad as canned ones but not I’ve had better from gas stations. 🤷🏻‍♀️ at Whiskey Kitchen in Raleigh

A great atmosphere with vegan options

It’s like a high end restaurant with a great bar in downtown Raleigh. What’s not to like? Really enjoyed my grain bowl with a fantastic IPA.

Delicious and well marked menu

I would have never known this place had so many vegan options and the ones I had were delicious. They even have a vegan option for dessert!!! Highly recommend.
