Good - Edit
You can have vegan cream and marshmallows with the coffee options, which is nice. We had slides and hot chocolate, everything was good.

Great vegan options - Edit
I always get nervous when a friend asks me out for coffee, so I researched coffee shops on Happy Cow and was delighted to find Whisk.
Read moreI was only there for coffee and cake so can't comment on what lunch would be like.
All coffee is made with Minor Figures. I was most impressed by the 3 choices of hot chocolate! I ordered the 57% with vegan cream and marshmallows. It was one of the best hot chocolates I've had in years!
The cake on offer was a Blueberry Croissant, double chocolate brownie and a flapjack. I had the latter two. Both were fantastic!
The staff were so friendly. I'll definitely be returning.

Fresh produce and great vegan options - Edit
Small cafe in a market town absolutely smashing fresh produce, cooked well. The vegan options are different, flavourful and really reasonably priced. Staff are welcoming and service is excellent. #Veganuary

Perfect breakfast - Edit
We were staying at the Feathers just behind Whisk, which is lovely but offers a buffet breakfast which we didn't want due to the cross contamination risk. We noticed Whisk had vegan cakes and plant milk so decided to try them for breakfast. So glad we did!
Read moreWe had coffees with both soya and oat milk. The coffee is lovely and presented well with mini whisks in place of tea spoons.
For breakfast, we ordered the vegan burrito and allotment breakfast. I'd recommend both. The allotment breakfast was the lighter of the two but both options were delicious. The home-made hash browns were a treat as was the sour dough toast.
The staff were friendly and service was quick, with an open kitchen, perfect for those who like to see their food being prepared!
A great all-round place to visit for beautifully presented and delicious food.
Pros: Nice selection of reasonably priced food and drink, More than one plant milk option , Good ventilation against the smell of carnist food
