Not bad - Edit
We came here as the place we were hoping to visit (Clean Kitchen) has stopped doing a decent choice of vegan food.
Read moreDespite the negative reviews here, we were pleased with our food. Service was quite slow but flavours were good. And it’s always nice to have a gluten-free vegan menu with a decent amount of choice. Pancakes were a bit stodgy but that’s pancakes for you I guess.
Pros: Vegan and gluten free options clearly labelled
Cons: Quite slow service

Slowest service, pancakes were raw - Edit
My mum and I came in for a quick lunch on a busy day, waited 45mins for 2 not that impressive plates but the worst part was the pancakes were absolutely raw on the inside. I suspect their recipe is not good but being served raw dough after waiting for almost an hour on a day we had 30 for lunch was too much. I'd never done this before but we returned the plates and refused to pay. Would not go again, don't waste your time. Megan's just outside the power station do vegan pancakes.

‘Vegan option available’ not vegan - Edit
Do not eat here if you are vegan. Vegan option available (voA) doesn’t mean the whole meal is vegan. Just means that pancake is vegan. And they didn’t tell me that when I ordered vegan pancake meal. Totally out of order and disrespectful! And when I challenged it once they served it the woman kept telling me caramel wasn’t vegan so she couldn’t make the dish vegan but didn’t tel me that when I ordered. Plays the labelling is clearly wrong as it says VOA and I’ve stated I’m ordering Vegan version. Do not eat here if you are vegan.

This was our second time visiting the power station, the first time there was a big queue outside Where The Pancake Are so we decided to give it a miss. They've now changed to a virtual queue and will text you when they can seat you so we decided to go for it this time. We ended up being seated after a 1 hour 15 minute wait which was within the time they told us to expect. They have 3 savory and 4 sweet vegan options. We decided to go for the peanut butter and banana vegan pancakes and the cinnamon poached pineapple vegan pancakes. The pancakes were fine, they weren't bad but they weren't great either. In my opinion, they were definitely not worth the wait. The service was quick so we ended up only staying for 45 mins but in that time, the table of 4 next to us who I assume had already had their pancakes didn't eat or drink anything. Knowing how long the queue is, it was frustrating to see people hogging the table. It's also frustrating that this is the only branch that doesn't accept bookings. I would only consider going again if a table was available straight away and even then, I'd probably still choose the vegan place next door, Clean Kitchen
