been to what the pitta many times. It is sooo delicious. Everything I've tried there has not disappointed moi. If you love kebab this is the place to go. their onion rings are soooo scrumptious. not to mention the yummy sauce selection that has a lot of variety. the decor of the places themselves is maybe my only area of improvement, but they are still pleasant to be in! I highly recommend

Have seen what the pita already on the vegan camp out but visit it in London Camden as well and can just say best döner ever 🙈 I got the döner Gyros it’s with fries and salat in a bread it’s delicious the döner is what England sees as they normal kebab but also really nice

Just crushed the doner chipbox at What the Pitta! 🌯🍟🧄Flavor levels through the roof with that perfectly seasoned "meat" and those crispy chips. And that garlic sauce? Whoa. Had me full and happy – totally hit the spot! 🤤🌱

What The Pitta - Edit
Shop on Brick Lane serving wraps, gyros, salads etc. Some seating inside and outside, felt like more of a takeaway place. There wasn’t a lot of branding, no name on the menu, on the walls, in the windows etc, so initially I wasn’t sure if I was in the right place! On leaving I did note the name on the edge of the shop front awning (you can’t see it when you’re under it!). I chose the doner wrap which was packed full of flavoured soya chunks and salad with a choice of two sauces - I had the tzatziki and mayo. Really good sized portion which I couldn’t finish. Would be good if they could look at an alternative wrapping rather than the tin foil ending up in the bin/landfill.

Go! Run there now! Absolutely delectable doner gyros and onion rings. I much prefer the fluffy pitta to the kebab wrap. You can collect stamps to earn a free one on Magic Stamp.

I got the signature doner wrap to-go and it was fantastic, some of the best vegan meat I’ve had in a while. Great ratio of various ingredients, I’ll happily get again.

Not an extensive menu but it didn’t have to be. Really good food and good in the summer. Maybe a little pricy? A main, side and drink for £12 but I wasn’t opposed to paying it. All in all very good.

We got the doner gyro and chicken gyro. The doner was a little chewier than the chicken. Both delicious and amazing texture and flavor. Very filling and great price for what you get.

Popped in for dinner with my 7 year old - doner gyro for me, nugs, chips and all the onion rings for her. Had a lovely time and left, happy and full, for a wander down Brick Lane. My daughter realised she had left a small wooden heart that she carries with her wrapped in a napkin on the tray so we went back and the staff very kindly looked through the bin until they found it for her.
