Traditional dishes made vegan, but not entirely convincing

It's nice to get traditional Swiss and Austrian dishes in vegan form - we've all head plenty of vegan Asian food - but at least in my case the Rösti was somewhat lacking - not enough salt and a little bland. However vegetarian colleagues were happy with their dishes so maybe mine was just a slip-up.
