Tasty all-vegetarian variety - Edit
Very glad to have this vegetarian spot. English Menu, three tables behind the outside kitchen, run by very nice elderly people.

Flavorful and affordable - Edit
The mock duck and greens were really flavorful and a great option when visiting this meat-heavy night market. Great prices and service too!

Classic veggie street food - Edit
Classic street food prt of the night market. Everything is vegetarian with a lot of vegan options. The menu shows what contains gluten which is helpful! The food was tasty, the mock duck roll was extra tasty!!

Increíble puesto vegano - Edit
Un pequeño puesto dentro del mercado nocturno. Personal amigable, menú en inglés. El pato falso y los noddles de pasta de sesamo estaban increíbles!

Visited twice... - Edit
Visited here twice, first was eating in second was takeaway. like lots of places here, food made fresh. First time had sesame noodles and spam which was ok. Second time wanted to try lots, so ordered noodles, meatball soup, mock duck and rice with mince. My fav was rice with mince and the soup broth was nice. I'll be honest, wasn't a fan of the mock duck.
Read moreIf you're buying to takeaway, make sure you add/ask for condiments as food does need a bit of omph. Also, if you're a solo dinner, avoid ordering more than two items as you may struggle to finish all.

I ordered fried rice with tomato sauces and fried rice with curry. The curry tasted better.

Fresh and cheap! - Edit
Great little hang out behind the market stalls. We enjoyed the sesame noodles the best. So fresh! Had lots of plates of vegetables. The cabbage heart was our favourite. So good to watch the food being cooked! $255 for 2 people and we were STUFFED. Grab some beers at the convenience store before you go. They have a bottle opener.

Veggie foodstall at night market - Edit
This is a vegetarian food stall at the night market. The people running it are friendly and fast. Also very affordable. Note, the location listed in the happy cow app is not quite accurate. The food stall is located in the night market (not outside of it). Options for vegan as well.

Inexpensive good vegan food - Edit
Visited 3 times from Dec 31 2017 to Jan 2 2018. A food stall with tables behind where you can sit down and eat. Informative English menu. Place your order at the stall and take a seat. Pay when you leave. I had the following dishes: sesame (ma-jiang) noodles, stir-fried greens, steamed glutinous rice cake (mi-gao), angelica (tong-kui) noodles, "meat"-ball soup, and various side dishes. All were very good.

Our fave local spot! - Edit
My hubby and I have spent our last year in Taiwan going here weekly. Initially they didn't have an English menu but now do with everything clearly labelled with/without egg. You can ask for no egg though (it's fake meat) and they are happy to comply. Friendly family run business with consistently great service and tasty food. We recommend the fried noodles/rice and delicious greens! They can serve you beer from next doors seafood restaurant and offer sit down or takeaway:) We'll miss this place as we move on to new adventures!

Wei Zhen Hao Su [censored] - Food Stall, Kaohsiung - Edit
As a food stall on the night market you'd expect this place to be very inexpensive and it doesn't disappoint. 60 twd for a plate of quick fried green veggies. They offer more than this of course.
