An Indian restaurant/takeaway, serving many South Indian specialties which may include dosas, idlis, and uthappams, tastefully paired with Indo-Chinese dishes like cauliflower manchurian, spicy vegan noodles, etc. Every dish offered is vegetarian, and upon request, dairy-containing dishes like paneer butter masala or cheese dosa can immediately be swapped for a non-dairy alternative, served fresh and vegan. Other than this, all other items such as vadai, samosas, and puri are completely vegetarian and vegan, the dosas and idlis specially ground from handmade rice and lentil batter. Lovely Family, Lovely Food - Edit
As part of our World Vegan Month celebrations in Watford, we visited husband and wife team Radha and Mayil at the covered market, who made us a super selection of dishes for lunch.
Read moreThe food was excellent, and Watford Dosa should be top of your list when in the area, they just need a bigger venue!
We also met their two sons (daughter's at college), who then joined us for the WVM board game Meetup at d20 in the evening.
P.S. Although they've only one table, out front, (vegan-friendly) Little Thailand kindly let us use their indoor seating area next door.
