Cute Little Tea Place

Vegan options are clearly marked, staff are very kind and helpful. I had smashed avocado on toast, it was simply delicious. They have plant based milk options for your coffee or tea.

Lovely Chilled Vibes

As soon as we entered this Teahouse, we could just sense the lovely chilled vibes.

We visited for breakfast, ordering the Smashed Avocado and mushrooms both on sourdough.

The smashed avocado was served with miso butter, crispy onion, dukkah and chilli oil, whilst the Mushrooms came with herb aioli and spinach. Both dishes were delicious and packed full of flavour.

We also got a kids biscoff toast that our son loved and a peony and rooibos tea from their vast selection.

Pros: Great food , Vibe , Teas

Good vegan options

Great independent with a few options for vegans - the mushrooms are definitely recommended. Portions sometimes quite small though last time I went it was big so maybe they have changed it up.

Nice staff and good number of seats so even when it's busy you can often get a table. Lovely coffee and a range of teas - if you're not sure what is what the staff are really helpful.

Delicious

Little bit pricey but worth it for the selection of teas and nice atmosphere. Had a few different toasts.

Lovely choice for brunch

Had a lovely brunch here. Great ambience in the arcade and friendly staff. My partner went for the miso aubergine brioche, I had the mushrooms and avo on sourdough. We both had an autumn spiced latte. It is expensive but a nice treat while we were on holiday, and everything is beautifully presented.

Yummy Avocado

Went for the smashed avocado (without the feta) and the avocado chocolate cake. Delicious and very friendly staff. A couple of other vegan options both savoury and sweet.

Cute & Kind

I popped in when I had time between trains and had a very nice oat milk flat white (they do almond, oat, and soy milks now) and the tofu scramble - all delicious and no fuss. Plus it's a gorgeous space in a convenient location with very nice staff!

Pros: Good options

Expensive but fascinating cup-of-tea choices

This is a specialist tea sellers, with all their tea sourced from particular estates, (and correspondingly expensive) and most of it organic - so high marks environmentally!
The staff are very knowledgeable about it and enthusiastic and helpful; it is clearly a place where you can order an expensive tea (and maybe a cake) and while away an hour or so reading or chatting to friends (their are some very comfy armchairs, etc.) They do a couple of vegan cakes every day which are delicious. However, whilst there are vegan choices at lunchtime (generally soups) they also serve meat and fish, so I would only recommend it at non-mealtimes (and lunch can go on until about 3.00, I was told). Very nice otherwise, though and easy to find - close to John Lewis.

Pros: Very nice atmosphere, Lovely teas, many rare chinese ones, Staff very knowledgeable about the teas

Cons: Quite expensive, Serve meat/fish at lunchtime

Nice Salad and Cake

We had a yummy Lime and Lemon Cake, nice summer salad and the Rye with beets and avoided instead of cauliflower as they ran out. There were 2 vegan cake options, 2 open sandwich, 2 salads, 1 soup with bread. However Soup was not available on the day. Very busy area. There was a queue at the till. We had to pay before they serve us. Cake slice was nice but too small and quite expensive £3.90. Food portions were small. Nice as a once off.

Pros: Vegan Options

Cons: Expensive, Small portions, Long waiting time at till

Tranquil vegan-friendly tea shop in Cardiff city centre

My Mum and I visited this tea shop 4 times on our 3 day visit to Cardiff due to the friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, and well labelled vegan options. The vegan cakes (we tried the lemon and lime, and the chocolate avocado) were delicious, and the tofu scramble (with roasted peppers and avocado) was great for breakfast.

Pros: Great city centre location (near to but different , Tasty vegan options (especially cake and breakfast, Friendly staff

Cons: Currently no vegan sandwich options (but other veg
