Five stars just for the fried rice - Edit
Some of the best fried rice I've ever had, with an incredible smoky flavor. The dish we got also came with satay with some really delicious fake chicken. We also got a marinated tempeh dish which was good, but I wish there was some kind of sauce, and some stir fried broccoli.
Read moreThe staff was very friendly - we had a lot of questions about the vegan egg options and they went above and beyond, as well as offering suggestions proactively.

Good food and service 😊 - Edit
Update 15 Nov 2023: finally got the chance to dine in here! Ordered food for 2 pax and they were all so good, really filled us up to the brim! 🤣 love the chendol too!
Read moreAfter they’ve moved from Beach Road, it was my first visit at their new location. Much more seating capacity and parking convenience. Ordered some food for takeaway, though they’ve turned cold, taste was still good. Service is still as friendly and welcoming! Will return next time to dine in. #Veganuary

Allium-Free & Vegan-Friendly Indonesian Cuisine - Edit
The only allium-free vegetarian Indonesian eatery in Singapore! Owned by a friendly lady boss. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, some of which feature modern plant-based substitutes such as OmniFoods or Forever by Shandi Global ‘chicken’, and they are also constantly adding new specials. Apart from Tahu Telor, all the dishes can be veganised. For example, fried egg can be swapped out to OnlyEg omelette, while salted egg yolk sauce can be switched to a housemade pumpkin sauce. mNon-veg family and friends that I’ve brought here have all enjoyed the food! Favourites include Ayam Penyet made using lion’s mane mushrooms, as well as Indonesian classics like Gulai Fish and Singkong Santan. Relocated to near Tai Seng MRT Exit B. No GST or service charge, and free WiFi available~

Tried their lunch special, goreng is good! It is also my first time eating petai in this manner, the sauce is abit salty so better to eat with rice.

amazing indo food - Edit
i absolutely love the food here! tried a variety of their dishes, and these are the standouts:
Read more🍜 mee goreng: super shiok. noodles were coated in a sticky, sweet, spicy sauce. if you have a relatively low spice tolerance, go for the lowest spice level.
🐟 assam fish: delicious! the gravy was not the absolute best that i’ve had, but it was yummy & i loveee their mock fish
🫛 orak arik tempeh: tau kwa, tempeh and mushrooms lightly covered in a savoury sauce. this was ADDICTIVE. could’ve had the whole dish by myself 😋
🍧 chendol: generous (and fresh) toppings, incl the coconut milk and gula melaka. very satisfying to round out the meal with.
🥑 avocado shake with gula melaka (& oat milk for the vg option): pricey for the portion size, but it’s avocado. very gao, very yummy, on par with some of the best avo shakes i’ve had.
this was my third visit and i’m certainly going to keep coming back (and bringing new people along with me) ☺️ it’s the perfect place for a hearty family meal.

Delicious authentic alliums free Indonesian food - Edit
Finally made it to their new spot in the east. We were craving their delicious Indonesian food and we’re so glad we made the trip. Their dishes are still bursting with flavour - every bite is a delight! We ordered our favourites - Nasi Gulai Fish and Ayam Penyet. Perfect with their Lemak Rice. Love their use of ingredients and seasonings. Our kids enjoyed their Fried Rice too... practically 'cleaned their plates!

Best indo food I've had. - Edit
GetableService was fantastic and the dishes were chockful of flavour... can't wait to go back again. We got the kampung fried rice, mee goreng and ayam penyet and a sambal veg dish All of it was great. Was surprised by how good that fried rice was. But it was the vegetable that was the unexpected star of the show - Sambal Vegetable King if I recall correctly - an assortment of vegetable fried with that homemade sambal. 😋

Simply everything was good! - Edit
Warung Ijo is placed in a small mall. Although the mall looks a bit run-down on the outside, it is very bright and inviting on the inside. There are plenty of eateries, and this is definitely the best one - if you are vegan😉We tried several dishes and, frankly, everything was good. The spiciness level of the kway teow and kampung friend rice could be improved a bit - even the highest level was not particularly spicy. The fried rice comes with a fried egg, which can be replaced with a vegan version. The mock fish was very good and did not taste weird, like mock fish often does. I loved the peanut sauce that came with the satay, and I enjoyed the satay itself as well (my daughter thought it tasted to much like tofu - I disagree). I cannot remember all the other dishes, just that everything tasted nice. We did not even have to say we did not want any (plastic) straws - none were provided. The drinks were nice, in particular the iced mocha. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well: even though they said it was mandatory to scan a QR code to place our order, they actually allowed us to order the old-fashioned way, by talking to a friendly waitress.
Read morePros: The taste is all great, The staff are very friendly and helpful, No plastic straws at all

Review is based on their old location (visited in June 2023). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of the dishes could be veganised. They use only eg for their plant based egg which was pretty good. Food was tasty and decent portion size. Glad they’ve managed to find a new venue
