As a Persian vegan it’s often so hard for me to find restaurants that are accommodating to my dietary requirements but Walnut is my new favourite restaurant because not only do they have a variety of vegan options to choose from, they also don’t lose their traditional touch and still taste beautiful😋‼️
Read moreThe first time I went, I got carrot juice, marinated olives and vegan Fesenjoon (which is a pomegranate stew) I also got some extra tahdig with that (crispy rice!!) So beautifully made, filling and I just overall felt at home❤️
The second time I visited, I got vegan Ghormeh Sabzi which is a stew made with various greens and pretty much a staple in Persian cuisine🌱 Again I was not left disappointed and the meal was super filling🙌🏼🙌🏼
They have such a beautiful interior PLUS a bakery/Persian store next door :)) Would recommend to ANYONE, especially if you want to try a new cuisine👀🇮🇷
Please note - ask for no butter in rice if you order rice 🚫🧈
