Not for me

The vegan donuts are also gluten free. With the texture of the donut, I couldn't make it past one bite.

Wake N Bake donuts

Super cute place with adorable t-shirts. Beautiful display of donuts, 1 vegan option.

Unpleasant donuts

So disappointing. The donuts were so bad my son said he "would never move to America" (and we threw them out...) I think it's only a very small subset of people who need both vegan and gluten free and it's just difficult to do both in a donut... please focus on delicious vegan donuts! Improve the texture... they were so unpleasant...

Cons: Saddest donuts

Gross, please change the recipe!

My husband said "just because it's in the shape of a donut doesn't make it a donut." Should give them 1 star, but giving 2 because the icing on top is amazing. Wish I had listened to the other recent reviews. It's a super odd texture. I can't even explain it. Do not go out of your way to buy these!!! Very disappointed

Disappointed

The vegan donuts are also gluten free. The texture was odd, the best description I can give is stretchy and densely chewy. I wish they had normal vegan donuts. My family did love their orders so this would still be a good place for vegetarians.

Pros: Fun options for vegetarians

Cons: Most vegans aren’t gluten free!

I was disappointed

Well to start with the smell of the tiny little shop it was the smell of old cigarette smoke.
They had 4 different kind of vegan/gluten-free. One was a very sad looking blueberry which was just a plain donut topped with sugar blueberry slim stuff. I liked this one the least.
The 2nd was okay it had toasted coconut on top.
The 3rd was chocolate with sprinkles which I liked the 2nd best.
And lastly an original glazed donut. That was my favorite.
Although I was also let down because all the other ones was so big and pretty they even had cinnamon rolls but none of those ones were vegan/gf 😔
It was 9.86 for 4 much smaller more sad looking donuts.
The place is alright but it could be better.
I am grateful they offer the vegan/gf.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Vegan/GF is much smaller than all the others, Vegan/GF ones look sad compared to the others. , Parking is a Pain/Busy Area

Awesome doughnuts

We went on a Saturday. They had 4 vegan options! We got a chocolate glaze and a vanilla glaze with sprinkles. They were great and we loved having many options. They also have almond milk for coffee drinks. A little on the expensive side though, I think they’re the same price of the regular large non vegan doughnuts. We got 4 doughnuts and 2 coffees for 20$. Worth a trip

Pros: 4 vegan options when we went , Gluten free options, Great taste and flavors

Cons: Vegan doughnuts are smaller

Vegan Donuts

Relaxed atmosphere and good music. Staff are not rushed, plenty of time to enjoy. The vegan options when we came were PB&J, strawberry lemonade, and espresso. They have GF options on Saturdays and Sundays as well.

Pros: 3 vegan options the day we came, Almond milk for coffee, Excellent prices

Cons: Donuts a bit dried out, No other milk alternatives

I'm a yeast donut girl but.....

These guys won me over. When we arrived, I didn't know they only have cake donuts. I was already there so I wasn't passing up on vegan donuts! And I'm glad I didn't. They were the best cake donuts I've had and I will be happy to give them more of my money.

We got 3 donuts: Samoa, pineapple lemon, and glazed. They were all good but sometimes simple is best and in this case, the glazed won the competition. I can't wait to visit again so I can grab another cake donut!

Pros: Delicious, Reasonably priced, Friendly

The best vegan donuts EVER!

Seriously amazing vegan donuts. I currently live in Los Angeles, where there are many vegan donut options. I also do a lot of traveling for my job. But so far NOTHING has come close to Wake N Bake. If you are in the area try them out! They have expanded on their options! Last time I visited they have 5 types of delicious donuts.

Good vegan donuts

If you like cakey donuts, theirs are terrific! And every time I have visited, they have had several vegan choices. So if I'm in the mood for a sweet breakfast - this is the place!

Pros: multiple vegan choices, good flavor

Cons: sometimes a line for service
