This was only my second visit to Waganama. I came because I had heard that they had a good vegan range on the menu - and it’s true!

First impressions are good - friendly staff welcome you and the place is clean. A bonus is that the kitchen is open.
The menus have lots of different options and I was rather spoilt for choice. In the end I had the spicy vegan short ‘rib’ ramen which was full of flavour and had a gentle, spicy warmth. My wife had no-duck Donburi - she had it on our first visit and enjoyed it so much she had it again, and now I already know what I’m ordering next time.
The food came quickly and was excellent! Some chain restaurants are really nothing special and I actively avoid them but Wagamama seem to have got it right and I’m looking forward to my next visit
A bonus - how wonderful to hear so many different accents among the staff. Wonderfully cosmopolitan

They have a dedicated vegan menu and take allergies very seriously, allocating a manager to take your order and cleaning kitchen things before they make it.
Read moreWe went recently with a serious hunger on. My wife had the no duck donburi, which was healthy and tasty, although the shirt grain brown rice was a challenge to eat with chopsticks! I had the tofu firecracker, which was hella spicy 🔥 but very tasty as well!
For sides, we had the vegan 'squid' (crispy and delicious), vegan ribs (tasty and chewy) and the vegan gyoza (always good). It was a lot of food, but we are it all cos we were so starving!
Dessert was a chocolate orange cake for me and a guava and passion fruit sorbet for my wife. All in all, an incredible dinner!

I had the Vegan Chilli squid, and also a BBQ dish of Seitan. Wagamama have a separate, and very extensive Vegan Menu, including deserts.

Wagamamas is very vegan inclusive and has a whole separate vegan menu. I usually get the vegan ramen, edamame beans and wok fried greens, but I have also tried the vegan boa buns and the gyoza, all of which are delicious. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever had bad food here - I’d give this 5* if the app would allow me to!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good sign when waitress greets you at door with question Do you need Vegan menu. Anywhere that has whole menu just for us is exciting. I normally have the steam katsu curry but decided to try the new Avant Garden as you get a vegan egg. It was mixture of seitan and assorted veg on bed of rice and it was delicious. Good big portion as well. I also had the buns with mushroom filling which were really good. I had the positive juice which was amazing. Overall great selection for us.

The vegan gyoza is ok but does have a weird flavour. But the Vegatsu is amazing, so glad one of favourite places offers this now. Would highly recommend
