Served meat in my vegan meal for the 2nd time (at different branches)

Came here a couple months ago and enjoyed some vegan starters and ate about a third of the ramen and took the rest to go. When I had it the next day there were quite a few bits of meat at the bottom of the dish and unfortunately I ate some of it.
Had this happen at a different branch near Reading and they compensated with a voucher, but didn’t bother complaining this time. Having had this happen a second time I think they’re just a bit careless with separating the meat from the vegan meals. It’s a shame because I really enjoy the food and half the menu is vegan, but won’t be bothering again.

Has gone a bit downhill

Wagamama has gone downhill a bit with their vegan food, the new donburi on the menu is not as good as the old 'no duck donburi' and I feel that there is generally a lack of flavour in a lot of the dishes I've had there specifically with tofu and the pad thai

Pros: Good choice for vegan dishes

Cons: Lack of flavour, Removed the best vegan dishes from menu

Had the pad Thai recently and have to agree it lacked flavour

Delicious as always!

Wagamama is great for vegans as around half of their menu is vegan and very clearly labelled. This time I went for the Vegan Sticky Ribs, the Vegatsu, and the Banana Katsu for dessert. The sticky ribs were excellent as always, with a great texture and just full of flavour. The Vegatsu was also great - a nice big portion and again full of flavour. The Banana Katsu was also very good - the Banana Katsu pieces were fresh and crispy, and the ice cream was delicious.

Wagamama always delivers, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go! #Veganuary

Update: Went back and had the Vegan Sticky ‘Ribs’ again and the Yasai Katsu Curry. Both were delicious again!

Plenty of very tasty vegan options!

I went there with a big group (all vegan), and we sampled really good food. I tried one of the ramen bowls and the "squid", and everyone really enjoyed their food.

Two downsides:
- it was relatively slow (surprising for such a big place, and us having "lunch" at 3.30pm)
- the hot dishes are not marked as such (those who had the vegan teriyaki ramen couldn't finish it because it was just too hot)

Disgusted! Allergic reaction. Vegans takeaway turned out to be chicken !!

This restaurant is not vegan friendly!
We ordered a vegan takeaway on deliveroo. All meals requested where clearly marked vegan
However when it arrived to our horror one od the dishes was a breaded chicken. We didn't realise until it was too late. I shudder to think with the carelessness of their attitude towards vegans many who have allergies, what key additives they throw in the food that we cannot see. We paid over £50 and we coukd not eat the meal after finding dead animals in our food. I had to take an antihistamine for an allergic reaction. Totally disgusted. Wagamama if you cannot be sure that your staff are trained in the food they are serving then just dont do it at all,!
Your attitude towards vegans is unforgivable

Pros: could be good but totally careless negligent attit

Cons: Not vegan friendly , Dont have the understanding in offering vegan fare, Expensive mistake

Good fast food

Quick service and accommodating staff made this Wagamama one of the best places for quick sit down food on the triangle. The separate vegan menu was packed with tasty options (definitely recommend the panko puns and vegatsu curry)! It was quite busy but still a really nice atmosphere and the unlimited free green tea was a bonus
