Not Bad, Not Great - Edit
It was my first time at Wagamama’s and I must say, I wasn’t impressed.
Read moreOut of all the things I’ve gotten, the vegan bao buns were excellent but the rest was pretty bland.
There’s a lot of vegan options, so perhaps it just wasn’t my lucky day.
Pros: Lots of vegan options

Great As Always - Edit
Eaten at Wagamamas many times, but never before on a takeaway. The food seemed spicier than when eating in, but was really happy with this! Always know what you’re getting with Wagamamas

Top Class Vegan menu - Edit
50% of Wagamama's menu is now plant based and you are asked on entry if you need a vegan menu. Everything I have ever tried at any branch has been excellent. This one in the middle of Birmingham is very lively and I really do recommend it.

Amazing vegan menu - Edit
As a chain restaurant, I think Wagamama’s has some of the best vegan options out there and they are all delicious. Separate vegan menu, which tells you just how many options there are. The restaurant tends to get quite busy around 12 so I would recommend popping in earlier or waiting until after 1. Customer service is usually great and the food comes quite quickly.

Not to be missed - Edit
I have been looking forward to trying Wagumama while in the UK and finally got my chance in Birmingham. Wish I’d tried it sooner. The vegan menu ( you have to ask for it) has a wide range of choices and the food I had was very nice. I think the vegan menu should be offered with the main one. A lot of people would choose vegan dishes if they were aware of them.

Katsu curry goodness - Edit
Like many vegans, the announcement of the Katsu curry with seitan sent me into a trance whereby I needed to proceed to the nearest Waga’s. Fortunately, there’s plenty of them around and on a cold Saturday night in Birmingham, my partner and I ventured down with the sole intention of having this dish.
Read moreWas it worth it? Yes, in a nutshell. Having had this a couple of times since at different Wagamamas, what I will say is there seems to be a bit of variation in the seitan. Sometimes it’s incredibly dry and others it’s not. It’s not a huge issue given it comes with the Katsu sauce but worth noting.
Wagamama’s do have a few other vegan offerings so if you haven’t been yet you should give them a go.
