Impressed with my first visit - Edit
Came in to order to go. I was greeted and checked in with before I had even made my way to the counter. Staff was very friendly and helpful about vegan items. Vegan items are all labeled on menu. I like that they offer different flavors of hummus and have specials for the Saturday menu. I ordered the grape leaf wrap. I had it within 3 minutes of ordering. Wrap was very tasty. Would definitely be back.

Gave my vegan partner chicken instead of falafel - Edit
I think the title is self explanatory. I hate to write reviews like this about family restaurants but every part of this experience was off. The waitress forgot to ask about sides for our meals, what kind of meal we wanted (wrap versus platter) , and even our drinks. She eventually serves us our meals and my girlfriends wrap had chicken instead of falafel in it! Unfortunately they even ate the meat before realizing immediately that something was off. They remade the food and gave them about 4 falafels and a lot lettuce in the wrap. All of th food was served with tortillas which I’m not sure if that is custom for this restaurant or just what was going on while we were there. We had to pay full price for the meals. The food was just fine overall. This whole experience is mostly the waitresses fault but i think important to note to anyone with a plant based diet.

Always a good meal - Edit
Great lunch spot near work. Colleagues always like to join when I go. Falafel wrap with a side of baba ganoush is my go-to. Iced tea is awesome. I’m also a fan of their purple hummus.

Wonderful Neighborhood Cafe - Edit
My friend and her daughter and I enjoyed a leisurely lunch at this place today. It's a small place with a few tables and booths. We arrived a little after one and most the tables were occupied.
Read moreThe waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We explained we didn't want anything with meat or dairy and she pointed out the options. We ended up getting two platters to share and each platter came with two sides. I ordered the Falafel with Hummus and Baba Ganouge and my friend ordered Stuffed Grape Leaves with Tabbouleh and Fattouch. The waitress brought extra plates and we sampled everything. Everything was fresh and tasty but the Falafel was outstanding. Deep fried but not greasy and it was soft and moist on the inside. Yummy! The meal was served with a basket of pita bread.
There were several drink options including lemonade, tea, soda, regular coffee and Turkish coffee.
I can't say anything bad about this place. It was clean and the staff were all super friendly and the price was reasonable.
They also have items on the menu for the meat eaters so it makes a nice place to bring non vegans friends and family. I like a place that has something for everyone.
For anyone who might be concerned about the Springfield area we (three women) parked over a mile away and walked to this place and had no trouble at all.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great vegan options. I'll be going back and next time I'm getting the Turkish coffee!
I would give them a 5 star but this site doesn't allow that because they aren't 100% Vegan.
Pros: Lots of Vegan dishes, Friendly atmosphere, Reasonable price.
