Cool concept and great taste! - Edit
It’s original to have ‘smoked’ as a theme, especially for a vegan place. There were dishes inspired by different culinary traditions. Everything tasted great! I especially liked the Thai sausages. The place also has a nice atmosphere.

This was an amazing find!
The smoked potatoes were delicious, the Ruben was amazing, and the feta with ‘mel’ and rúcula was so good that we asked for a second one instead of having dessert.
Went back a couple more times before the trip was ove.
The Thai sausage, which you assemble like fajitas, was very delicious. The palmito roll sandwich became my favorite. The lemon mousse was made with smoked lemons!, and was so light.
In my month-long stay in Porto, and going to all vegan restaurants that I could, this was by far my favorite.

Great interior with a really good vibe. My partner had the Ruben saanwich, she really loved it & I had the Bun which was a really delicious burger with smokey roast potatoes & aioli. The portions were good but I wanted to try the French toast which was lovely & also had a smokey flavour. Highly recommend this place.

The food is amazing and different than the usual vegan restaurant food. It has smokey as a theme and the options and well thought about and really delicious. The interior is worth a look as it is very old and special vintage carefully put together and the service is just perfect

This was one of our favourite finds in Porto, the food was homemade and delicious. We had the Reuben sandwich and the burger as well as a side of potatoes. The owner who served us was lovely too!

Loved this cosy restaurant! Seems to be owned by a sweet couple and is in a residential part of the town. We had the Reuben and the Bun and both were fantastic. One of the best vegan burgers I ever had. 100% recommended!

Every dish is absolutely amazing. Special mention goes to Reuben sandwich and chocolate mousse, which are really worth the trip. Last but not least: Thomas and Juliana are just adorable and know how to make you feel at home. Can’t wait to visit again!

Smoky vegan delights - Edit
This little gem of a restaurant, nestled in a residential area, has a variety of very tasty vegan dishes, the central theme of which is having a subtle smoked flavor. I had the soup of the day and the hummus main course, oth of which tasted amazing. This place is definitely in the running for best vegan restaurant in Porto. The old style decor with the rock theme is great. The service is also excellent.

The environment is really cool, the rock music is part of the theme, as well as the smoky-based food. The owners are really, really friendly and the food is incredible, with a different concept from usual. Top recommended!

Read moreI only learned of this magical smokehouse last week and I have already visited 3 times. I am working my way through the menu but everything that I’ve eaten so far has been absolutely fantastic.
The beers are delicious, the wine pours are hardy, the fresh juice is divine and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy.
To top it off, the owners (Tomas & Juliana) are the most wonderful hosts offering smiling service and flavors that are delightfully addictive. 10 stars!!

This was a lovely find during a grey and rainy day in Porto. Vumo means smoke in Portuguese. They experiment with flavors and create unique dishes. I had Reuben sandwich - tasty and filling. But I was blown away by the chocolate mousse with brownie base and crumbs on top. They had smoked the chocolate which added an incredible flavor. Highly recommended.

New-ish vegan eatery on the block - Edit
I learnt my lesson with making sure I got to this place before the crowds on a Saturday night. If you're looking for a chilled and relaxed vibe with cozy seating this is the place. The food was oozing with flavours and couldn't see how it could be improved. I eat out only occasionally so I'm happy to pay more for high quality food and support vegan independent eateries. Especially as these were just within a year of trading. If you're travelling on a limited budget and eating out for all your meals this may not be within your meal budget!

Dark and moody - Edit
Trapsed up the hill wondering where we were going. Nearly walked past this dark place! Interesting moody dark and atmospheric interior. Cool music and vibe. Delicious food. I had the borscht soup and Rubin sandwich and a gorg glass of red. Would return if there weren’t so many other vegan places to try and do little time! Highly recommended.
