Very tasty vegan dishes - Edit
The Vrata o grada has a separate vegan/vegetarian page within a menu. We had starters and main courses and all of it was delicious. The staff was super friendly, they have good wines, are located in the city centre and the prices were also fair.

Lovely restaurant, excellent service and very tasty food with quite a few vegetarian and vegan options. I had the vegan lentil bolognese which was very tasty. Our waiter was so friendly and efficient.

Great Italian restaurant with many vegan options, which is rare to find in the area. We had pasta al pomodoro and lasagne with vegan cheese. The pasta was average and the lasagne was great. Nice location, friendly service. Waiting time was OK, it was busy. Would recommend!

This is the only restaurant where I could eat as a vegan during my vacation. They offer a wide selection of dishes that are very tasty. In addition, there is very helpful and kind staff who made our day pleasant. I really recommend this restaurant.!!🤗

Vegan section of menu - Edit
This restaurant is trying hard to cater for vegans. There are limited options for vegans in the area so this is a good place to go for guaranteed vegan options. The food is okay and hopefully they will continue to add more options too.

We were a small group of four people and we found the place very easily through the Happy Cow app.
Read moreWe sat very nice close to the water and sheltered from the sun and I ordered the Vegan platter that also included a superb spicy dip.
As we were there at peak tourist season we had to wait for quite some time to get the food, but it was totally worth the wait.
Two other parties in the group ordered the Vegan lasagne and they were also very satisfied.
The last member of our group ordered the vegetarian Risotto with mushrooms and she was also very happy with our meal.
I had the chance to taste the other courses and can confirm they were class acts.
This is highly recommended and we will definetely
come back shortly!

We had the lasagna and the vegan cheese was very realistic to dairy-i know there are great plant based cheeses but when it's listed under a heading that says vegetarian/ vegan ... it's hard to trust. The waiter was very good and took a picture of the cheese they use and came to show us the brands.
Read moreHad the beetroot salad sans dairy cheese. Also no photo, but had a platter which was ok, but raw tofu was a bit odd/cute. I get the impression they're trying to supply to a vegan market by buying vegan products but the platter could have been better. Some vegan cheese on the platter as well.

Awesome service and delicious vegan options. Other reviews mentioned longer wait times but that was not our experience. We had the beet salad and veggie lasagne. We sat in the lane way rather than waterfront and it was fun watching everyone stroll by.

The restaurant has very good and tasty vegan options. We went their almost every evening. It is a good place for non-vegetarian and non-vegans, too. The stuff is friendly and the prices are good.

Waterside location and vegan cheese! - Edit
We had the vegan platter, which was two types of vegan cheese, hummus (was a bit runny), 'spicy' tomato sauce, vegetables and bread. It was quite costly for what is was (90 kuna for a dish I was still hungry after. But it was so nice to find a different dish to the usual cous cous and veggies! One of the vegan cheeses was really nice, the other a bit bland. My husband had the lentil Bolognese which was flavoursome and a much better portion size. We ordered a tomato and basil pasta for our son, this was also very flavourful!

I’ve ordered risotto with vegetables and iced coffee with soy milk (not included in menu, just ask). Food was delicious, portions were enough too.

Der Kaffee mit Soja-Milch war super lecker. Wir hatten das Avocado Sandwich, was auch sehr gut war. Es gab noch mehrere Optionen die man hätte abändern können, damit es komplett vegan ist (z.B acai bowl ohne Honig).

Vegan Burger - Edit
Restaurant is small and cute. There is one vegan burger option ( lentis chickpea burger, with sweet and sour sauce and veggies) which is good but it's quite expensive restaurant. Would put soy crumbs or oat flakes in that burger so it's not too soft. Roll was quite delicious crispy and soft. We got pomes frites included in price of burger.
