Homemade Everything!

Highly recommend Voula's. You can order pretty much anything vegan. Since it is a long drive, I always load up on things to bring home.

Great food!

We really enjoyed ourselves here. Lovely setting. So many vegan desserts! We had the vegan pizza, it was white with broccoli and a balsamic reduction over top. Vegan feta cheese and Follow Your Heart mozzarella. Wow, it was so good. This is a vegetarian restaurant, not vegan, so be careful to specify you want vegan. They were very focused on it once we told them we were vegan, it was not a problem, just remember to say.

We took home one of each of the desserts--a full box we enjoyed for several days. Vegan baklava! Who could ever imagine a vegan could eat baklava? It was wonderful, along with the other desserts. Highly recommend.

Pros: Vegan pizza, so yummy, Vegan baklava!

One of the best

There is not much to add here./ This is one of the best places to go, not only for great food but also for some of the best vegan desserts in the world. There is a standard menu as well as a daily special so you can always find a vegan delight here. The restaurant is tucked away and has an eclectic collections of chairs and tables (including a metal kitchen table that i must have seen a thousand times in the late fifties!) The vegan gyros and spanokopita are wonderful. The Greek desserts are amazing.

Pros: great Greek food, eclectic furnishings, Voula is so sweet

Best Vegan Greek Food

I've been eating here for a couple of years and decided it was time to write a quick review. There are definitely vegan standouts here. I usually order the tofu scramble with lemon potatoes. A perfect, spicy scramble which pairs really nicely with the potatoes, which are definitely one of my favorites. When the scramble isn't available I usually order the
three spreads with hummus, skordalia and roasted eggplant. The gyro plate or sandwich is also a great choice with house made seitan gyro meat. Aside from the great meal options there's also a good selection of house made vegan pastries. The baklava is outstanding. Another plus is you can buy the spreads to carry out. This is a small, cozy place with an eclectic decor and friendly, helpful staff.

Always go for brunch!

Order the Gythio Plate Vegan, you will not be disappointed. Voula is lovely, the decor is adorable, and it just had a homey feel. Love this place. I always bring out-of-towners here.

Pros: food is amazing, friendly staff

Cons: small, cash tip only

Don't miss out!

I've been to Voula's a few times and every time the food I ordered was absolutely delicious. The vegan spanikopita in particular is amazing. The staff are super friendly and attentive and it's easy to ask them to make any of the vegetarian options vegan. And, of course, don't forget to pick up some of the desserts!!

Pros: amazing food, friendly staff, nice vibe

Rochesters hidden gem

One of our favorite places to eat downtown. The food is absolutely some of the best we've ever had.

The decor inside totally transports you out of Rochester, especially during those snowy winter months.

Try and go for the brunch if you can... and of course do not forget to pick up some sweets. :)

Do not miss this place.

Pros: Amazing food + value, Incredibly kind staff, Great decor and relaxing atmosphere.

best vegan brunch ever!!

Ordered the Vegan Samos plate (tofu scramble, potatoes, vegan garlic feta and the seitan gyro meat). It was so good, had enough to take some home for lunch!!
The service is great and the food is top notch.

Pros: food!, service!

I'm so happy I found Voula's!

I have been vegan for 4 months and have been lamenting my lack of choices when I go out to eat. After following Voula's facebook page for a few weeks, I went and tried it out. It was fun to have choices again. Everything I ate was delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. I will go back again and share my experience with friends.

Amazing! Authentic!

This is a restaurant that my husband and I cannot get enough of; the food is great as is the owner. My husband is Greek and really missed certain food when we went vegan, but Voula has filled that void. She always has on the menu delicous dips, salads, dolmades, and soups which are vegan and then she also offers vegan specials: Thursday is a peper stuffed with orzo and Friday (the best day of the week to go) is vegan spanikopita!!! Voula also makes a few delicious vegan desserts. I highly recommend trying out this little gem, it's even a great place to take your omnivore friends/family.

Pros: Price, friendly, welcoming owner and staff, excellent food

Cons: None!
