Take-out
Vegan cafe at the front of O2 Yoga Studio's Cambridge location since 2013. Specializes cruelty-free casual fare from sandwiches and nachos to daily soups, pastries, and smoothies. Also in the space is a retail store selling US-made products plus a wellness center offering massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic services. Take Red line to Harvard or Central T stop. SHUT DOWN APR 2019 DUE TO CHANGING LOCATION.

Hot vegan paninis - Edit
We came for breakfast sandwiches— had the captain steve and tengo hambre burrito which were both savory and delicious. They were so good that we ordered more sandwiches to go. Cute chill coffee shop vibe and the staff is really kind. There’s a yoga studio and apparently acupuncture and massage upstairs. Highly recommend!

Disappointed - Edit
I ordered through the website and received confirmation texts, but when I showed up I was informed by the young man that the online service doesn't print out tickets so they didn't know they had an order, not a big deal at all and I told him I didn't mind waiting. I got the "nachos" and added avocado, as well as their in-house bean burger, a smoothie, and soup (I was so freaking hungry).
Read moreI got called up to the counter to get a little lesson/lecture on how if I ordered loaded nachos I would get all this additional stuff (black beans, tofu, avocado, and quinoa I think but I don't eat soy) for the same price as just adding fresh avo. I said great, thanks for the info and he went back to making my food to go. The kicker is when I opened the box later there wasn't even the 2.00 fresh avocado added. He also made me the impossible burger instead of the house made bean burger. I think the impossible burger brand is pretty gross and I took the patty out and just ate the iggy's bread and toppings, which was good. The green bliss smoothie was good, but not great. There was something chalky about it that I couldn't put my finger on. The chowder was very good
All in all I would try them again but would certainly not go out of my way to do so again.
Pros: Lots of options , Affordable, Good ingredients
Cons: Poor rervice, Online ordering doesn't work

Love this place! - Edit
Love grabbing breakfast or lunch at this spot. Every single thing I’ve ordered has been incredible and the staff is super friendly. I don’t eat here as much as I’d like to since I live in Somerville and the parking situation for the cafe isn’t the easiest. Other than that- this place is amazing!

Pretty good, pretty expensive - Edit
Look. If you've been vegan for a few years, you could probably make a lot of this stuff at home. For a change of pace or in a pinch I enjoy me some V02. I get they are trying to survive as a mixed-use space in Cambridge and I applaud them for that. I'll be sad when it inevitably becomes a Panera or a Cycling Studio, but I think the $40 yoga classes and the Cambridge moms with massive reserves of mystery money may yet stave that off for a good while.

Good place - Edit
I went on a Tuesday morning, so it wasn’t busy and I could choose any table I liked. I had the avocado and tomatoes bagel, which was good! Service was excellent and it was very convenient to Harvard. They also had a few other snacks to choose from, and they all look good. The only thing I would add is more variety of coffee, but that’s just me 😊

Nice spot - Edit
Ate lunch here with a small group of friends. Seating is a bit cramped, as there are only a few tables and they are small. My Beyond Burger was absolutely delicious, and my friends enjoyed their sandwiches as well.

Cute little café - Edit
Came here for an early dinner and got the North End. It was good but a little small for the price and both my mom and I thought it was too salty. It came with chips which were really good.
Read moreStore itself is very small, maybe 4 tables in total, but it's nicely decorated and super cute. One thing is our casher wasn't super friendly.

V/First Timer - Edit
So happy I randomly picked V02 Cafe today. Was looking for quick takeout close by and ended up here to an amazing late lunch. Started off with the daily soup of the day which was a Moroccan Chick Pea soup and it was so yummy. The Rye bread and chips got dipped in this soup for extra added goodness. Had a North End sandwich was simply amazing. Anyone looking for a cool yummy spot on MassAve stop by here and enjoy.

fast service - Edit
The food wasn’t bad - got the “Captain Steve” breakfast sandwich, taco salad or Spicey Monkey smoothie (all of which looked great on paper). The taste/ingredients didn’t seem well thought or fresh. Also, the smell in the cafe was so bad (no ventilation/smoke smell) that I decided to get my order as carry out after ordering.

Great food in a relaxed environment. Portions were generous and staff was great. Loved the environment in the front of the Yoga studio overlooking the street. Had the Bahn Mi which was huge, had to save half for later.

One of my longtime friends from the Boston Vegetarian Society reaches out to me annual for an hour plus of catching up.
Read moreV)2 was a great place, and the food was good IF we carefully assess the menu and order wisely. But one could get merely junk food, and I advise against that.
Pros: Vegetarians and vegans can get food here, Can get vegan food, Can get vegan food, and some vegans work there
Cons: Too much 'fun food', Prices are not cheap, Seating can be limited

This place was incredible! I am in front out of the area and it was totally worth the drive and traffic on 90. Had the loaded nachos and the tofurky melt to go. Both were incredibly tasty and just fantastic! Wish there was one in Philly! Great atmosphere and great staff! 👍🏼👍🏼

VO2 has a special place in my heart! 💓 - Edit
Now that I'm no longer working here, I can leave a (relatively!) unbiased review. Supremely delicious comfort food in a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. It's hard to articulate just how much I admire and respect my former co-workers. Everyone is kind, friendly, hard working, and committed. Stephanie was a total pleasure to work for, and Mimi and Stephen (the owners) are the real deal in terms of animal rights and vegan advocacy. They started O2 because they believe in ahimsa and the healing power of yoga, not to make loads of money like some so-called "green" businesses. VO2 is a very special place!
