Great vegan pho (which is hard to locate) - Edit
When I go to this restaurant, I get the P11 (the bean curd pho) with veggie broth. I go here semi-regularly (at least once every few weeks). I just tried their spring rolls in their vegetable section of the menu yesterday. The spring rolls are vegan, but I’m not sure about the dipping sauce (it could have fish sauce or something, so I aired on the side of caution). The pho tastes different every time I go there, which is great! A few of my vegan friends said that most of the time at pho places they will use a ham broth even when it says vegetable broth? Weird.
Read moreEdit: I tried the hot pepper and lemongrass tofu last time and it was delicious (I asked for less spice but it was still quite spicy). The ginger tofu on the vegetarian section is vegan if you ask for no oyster sauce.
Pros: Yum pho, Inexpensive , Great portion size
Cons: Nothing is labeled as vegan, Somewhat of a language barrier

Small gem! - Edit
This restaurant isn't entirely vegan but the staff are very helpful in making dishes vegan on request. I really like the fresh tofu rolls and Vietnamese veggie soup...be sure to ask for veggie broth.

Favourite local spot - Edit
I love this place. If I have questions about food, someone will get me answers. If I need to leave something out, they've got me. I was pretty ill once and the only thing I could handle was broth. They got me a huge container of broth and were just SO nice about it. The food is awesome, the people are extremely kind and helpful. Couldn't ask for better.

Very tasty and veg aware - Edit
I was very happy to find a restaurant with many "vegetable" options on the menu. The ginger wheat gluten was very enjoyable.
Read morebe aware that some of these items might have beef or fish sauce.
I found that John the manager was aware of the needs of vegans and vegetarians. However, he is somewhat vague on terminology. John does read Vietnamese and completely understood the Vietnamese Vegan Passport page.
Pros: really good flavor, reasonable prices
Cons: English is a second language as is often the case.
